The Return Of Rob

Ryan's POV

My eyes widen as I recognise the familiar figure standing in the doorway. "Rob?! What are you doing here?! You're supposed to be a a boarding school - far away from me"

He smirks. "Half Term. And it's pretty god damn long one so we got to go home for it"

"Ugh. This is horrendous". I sigh. "Why did you even come here? Just to rub it in my face you got to come back home. Wherever that is"

"No"

"Why then?"

"For revenge"

"R-Rob... w-what do you mean.. revenge...?

"I'm getting payback for making me go off to boarding school and stop your torture. God I hated every second of it. Now I have a chance to do it again for a bit, well I best take it for granted then eh."

"Rob. N-No. This... this no. Not again. Please."

"Ryan?" I hear everyone's muffled voices. "You can stand up to him!" They shout - or something like that.

I take a deep breathe and pull myself together - looking Rob dead in the eyes. "You don't scare me."

"I can though"

"Ha! What do you know!?"

"I know your weakness. Your only weakness. No one here could make you weaker or use your weakness against you because they don't know it and I get to watch your suffering"

I start taking steps back. Them steps becoming bigger and quicker as he steps forward, moving closer to me. "D-don't Th-Think About I-It..." I manage stutter out.

"Ryan!". Ash runs over to me, concern showing all over her face. She takes ahold of my hand and her eyes widen. "you're freezing!"

"I don't care."

"It's working." Rob states, knowing exactly that his little plan is working.

"Rob Shut Up! That might have been the past but this daycare and my friends and other siblings have helped me through it!"

"We will see about that."

He runs up to me and throws a punch. Thankfully. I have good reflexes so I managed to dodge but only just in time - he's fast when it comes to fighting. "Forgot You were hard."

He frowns, stepping back just a little bit. "very funny. Time to end you."

"No!" I practically shout. I cower down into a ball as tears start to roll down and stain my cheeks, making me go all puffy eyed and stuff. This... this is the first time I've cried. I've never experienced this before. I-It's weird.. I don't like it.

"Haha! It's going so well!"

"Ryan! I know you can do this! You're as strong and brave guy. He looks too dumb to harm you" Shouts Ash, trying to boost my confidence in this situation but little do they know, he nearly killed me. To sum it up, I was 3 seconds away from death all because Rob stabbed me - quite a bit I suppose.

I have to do this. I can't give in this easily. If I show weakness he'll try and do more - probably worse. "I'll try.". I stand up with a deep breathe and I notice everyone's eyes on me. They can see my tears and noticed them almost instantly.

"He cried?" I can hear them all mutter to each other.

"Everyone Leave.". No one does so. I tell myself to not focus on them and to just focus on Rob.

He pushes me against the wall before I even get chance to take cover or attack. All the fire is gone and everyone comes back in to see Ryan cowering. 

"Just like the old times" he says with a smirk. He's got me in a grip I cannot escape from - even if I try with all possible strength left within me. I take this as my opportunity to tell him the exact reason for why the tables turned. Why his plans got disturbed and everything went horribly wrong. Why he has this raging urge to kill me.

"The main reason why you were sent to boarding school is because I was extremely scared of you! I self harmed to try and end my life but I couldn't do suicide. I wasn't that desperate because I knew if I believed, my life would change. I was scared of you. In fact, i am terrified of you.". Tears are streaming down my face by now. "I don't love you. I put on a fake smile every day at Sunny Side High so I could get on with life. Mum doesn't love you! Dad doesn't love you! You were the child they loved. I was the unwanted one! That's the reason why you do this to me but when they found out you were like this. You became the unwanted child and they protected me all they could.". I don't even know if he could make out what I said I was speaking that fast, trying to let everything out.

To my surprise, he lets go and I fall to the ground - Ash, Cookie and Matt all rushing over to me to check on me.

Rob stands back, dropping his hands by his sides and placing the knife down on the table. "Oh..."

"My only hope was, well my new start in Spain. Then Ash came and I feel safe with her. I'll do anything to make her happy and to keep her safe. Here is my safe place. My place to hide. To share secrets I couldn't share with anyone else. Not even Mum or Dad."

"I didn't realise how much of an affect this had on you."

"Yeh. It had a lot of an affect on me because you were trying to kill me!! Leave. I said LEAVE." He does so and I just let the tears come flowing out.

"Ryan, cry on my shoulder and have a hug." Says Ash, holding her arms our.

I hug her, crying on her shoulder but no sound of my sons to be heard. "Everything I said... is true."

"You should have told us sooner. Well you should have told us more about this. We would have helped you"

"Guys, my whole body hurts" stayed Matt randomly.

I stop hugging Ash and step back before wiping away the tears. "How do you do that?" I ask.

"I sneezed and I got this wave of just pain. Man that sneeze hurt"

"Well done"

"I'm just Matt aren't I?" He laughs.

I laugh too, agreeing with him. "Yeh."

"Good to see you smiling again!" Says Ash all cheery.

"Thanks."

"For being in pain to make you happy?" Matt asks.

I laugh. "No, just thanks for Yeh making me laugh and just letting me cry. As I don't cry... I have this one exception! You heard how he treated me and what I think."

"Shhh". She giggles as if she was Tina again and before I can comment on it, she plants a quick kiss on my lips causing me to smile.

"Ti-" I cut myself of by sighing. "You know I really should be used to this by now."

"I'm full of surprises!" She giggles.

"Good ones...." I mutter hoping no one could hear me.

"Very". Well. Ash heard. What's the worst that could happen I suppose is the best way to look at that?

"Um. Whatever. Anyway."

"Couple! Couple! Couple! Couple!" Matt chants, causing my cheeks to go a light shade of red.

"Well, I gotta go. Bye guys" I say quickly with a spin on my heels.

"Bye Cutie!" I hear Ash say in her Tina voice.

"Bye Tina!"

"Bye Ryan!" Says everyone else.

Damn. What a day. God do I hate Rob. Hates a strong word so I best not use that even though it's very true. God do I despise Rob with a mighty passion. Heh, why am I cringy like that. 'With a mighty passion' my butt.
