The Plan

The barbecue was fun. The food was great and there were tons of laughs and many photos were taken that evening. Another thing that happened was a phone call. Well, a conversation about this said phone call. I haven't yet received it but both Cookie and Tom have.

This phone call is about the adults. You know, the ones unworthy of parenthood? Yeah. Those ones. They talked to them both so nicely and tried to lure them in. They apologised 'sincerely' and hoped we could all reunite. Be a happy family like we once were. For a year if that but you get me.

Tom denied but I was there when Cookie got the phone call. I told her to accept and tell them that Tom rethought about it and accepts too. She didn't mention me to the adults so hopefully they call me and I get a say. Anyways, I made a plan. Hence why I told Cookie to accept their offer. Us three will work undercover to catch them out on whatever they're doing. I think, and the other two agree on this, that they will treat us nice. Be friendly. Be like a family. By doing that, they will fool us and come up with reasons to help bail Rob out of jail. Of course that won't fool us. If they do that, that is. We will set up cameras and share a room. We cannot be left alone. Anything could happen at any moment and it could be good or bad. Most likely bad in this case.

I told Ash the plan she is fine with it as long as we are careful. We will definitely be careful. I can't wait to get it over and done with so I can then return to my actual family. In other words, my marriage family.

Last night, I stayed on a Skype call with Cookie and Tom. Together, we packed our stuff and then each packed an extra bag or two with a equipment to help with our plan. Hopefully this will work out well.

It's 5 in the morning and I need to get changed and get ready as well as have breakfast. I also need to shower too.

After doing all that, I put my plate in the dishwasher and write a note for Ash when she wakes up.

To My Tiger Girl

My journey begins with my siblings today. Everything will be a-okay. Do not not worry for we will look out for each other, given that they are my sister and brother. I'll miss you dearly, please stay cheery. And I'll miss the kids too! Can't forget about those two! Do not panic I'll be home soon - before you know it. Promise me you won't be all blue - I know you'll miss me quite a bit.

Didn't know I was a poet.

Where did that come from? Shows love can don almost anything to you. Especially when you love someone as much as I love Ash. But that's not possible because I love her too much.

My okay pocket starts to vibrate so I take out my phone to look at the screen. On it, it says Girl Adult. That meaning it's the female adult. But she isn't a grown woman - clearly - so I class her as a child. A girl.

I pick, already knowing what the phone call is about but I pretend I don't so it doesn't cause any suspicions.

"Hi Ryan" she begins. "Just before you start being mad and asking me why I'm calling you, explaining how much you hate me, I just want to say I'm sorry. I'm so very sorry about the way we treated you. How your childhood was. It wasn't right whatsoever and I regret every second of it. Not fixing that was my mistake and I can never forgive myself about it now"

"Wha-"

"-before you ask why now, I've taken the time to think over everything. Especially after what's happened recently. Me and your dad or 'the male adult' as you like to call him, have talked. We have decided to try and out things right and we accept Tom for being gay and you being Bi. If you see Nurse Nelly again tell her thank you from us for supporting you through that and through everything."

"Okay but what point are you trying to make?"

"We were thinking about getting the family back together"

"You mean reuniting everyone to become a family again?"

"Yes. That exactly. We want to our things right and considering we can't exactly ask i person, we figured we'd start off with the phone call. Now, Cookie and Tom have accepted and agreed to come live with us for two weeks to commence again and become a happy family. My question is, are you in?"

"When do we need to set off?"

"They're setting off today"

"See you in an hour". With that, I hang up and like my bags into the boot of the car. I donkey check I have my keys, my phone, my wallet, etc and make sure I locked the doors. I then close the boot and get in the car, buckling up and driving to the old house to pick up Tom and Cookie.

That phone call was very convincing. If hadn't been told by Tom that he had the phone call and later witnessing Cookie receive it, I would have taken jo the offer but not confirm anything. By that I mean I would have consulted with the others. Only then I would have known about them two getting the phone call. Damn.

Was debating whether to honk the horn but then I realised it's 5:45 am. People will be asleep so best not. I decide to text them instead and soon they step out their house and put their things in the boot before getting in the car themselves. Now all there is to do is start the hour long car ride journey. And I do just that. All the while, we plan more in depth to make sure we are really prepared. This is going to be one heck of a visit. And one I may just regret.
