I slept with Michael that night. I allowed him in to my bed for the third time, whispered lies into his ear and pictured Ashton the whole time. It was safe to say I didn't sleep much; once we had finished Michael dozed off and I lay there staring up at the ceiling, wondering why I was allowing this to happen over and over again.

'You awake, Lex?' a text came through to my phone and startled me. I scrambled across the bed to grab it in the hopes of not disturbing Michael. I crept out of the room and into the bathroom typing out a reply; 'yeah, couldn't sleep. Why are you awake? Missing me already? ;-) x'

It had been a second since I sent my reply when my phone began to ring, his name appeared on my screen and I felt my heart flutter. Late night phone calls with Ashton were everything I could have asked for.

"Hello, Ash"

"Ive been thinking..."

"That's dangerous" I teased.

"Shut up. As I was saying, I've been thinking. Seeing as it's Saturday tomorrow and we have the day off, how about we do something?" Ashton suggested, that beautiful raspy voice gliding down into my ear.

"Do what?"

"I was thinking we could go to the aquarium or something? It's out of town so we don't have to worry about anyone seeing us"

"Sure, that sounds nice" I agreed, trying not to sound too eager but the chance of spending a full day with Ashton was my idea of heaven.

"Meet me at the supermarket and don't get lost this time"

"What time?"

"9"

"Really? 9 on a Saturday? Why do you hate me?"

"Don't be lazy! See you there at 9, Lex. Try and get a couple of hours sleep, don't want you being too tired"

"Okay Ash. I'll speak to you in the morning"

"I look forward to it" and with that he put the phone down. I sat down on the toilet for a little while, unable to get the smile off my face. If Ashton had asked to see me just a day after our first meeting then surely that meant he was keen. It felt strange slipping back into bed beside Michael when thoughts of Ashton whirled through my mind. I turned to face him, studying the way his eyes flickered in his sleep and having another surge of guilt. I took hold of his hand and shuffled closer to him, resting my head on his shoulder and eventually drifting off to sleep.

"I made you some breakfast" Michael's voice disturbed me from my sleep. I glanced down at the tray of toast he had made, it wasn't anything extravagant but god bless him for trying.

"What time is it?" I asked, searching for my phone to check for myself.

"8, why?" Michael asked, lying on the bed beside me and handing me the tray.

"Thanks" I smiled over at him and placed a piece of toast into his hand. "I have to run some errands today"

"Want me to come with you?"

"It's okay. I just have to go into town and pick up some new books for class. Nothing exciting. You hang out with Luke, I won't be too long" I lied, tucking in to some of the toast. It was burnt, incredibly burnt but luckily enough I was one of those weirdos who enjoyed burnt toast.

"Yeah that sounds shit. I don't wanna do that"

"Didn't think so, now go on. Get out why I get changed"

"Really? I've fucked you on several occasions and you ask me to leave the room when you wanna get dressed? Not a chance. I wanna see some boobs!" He smirked, holding his hands up to block the piece of toast I threw at him.
