"I want Calum back. He makes me breakfast" Luke complained, using his feet to push Michael towards the end of the sofa.

"Get Alexa to make breakfast"

"Make it yourself" I snapped, wandering out my room and falling onto Luke's knee so that I had somewhere to sit. The two of them had been up all night playing FIFA and had refused to move from the sofa to eat, get a drink or go to the toilet just in case the other stole all the space.

"No. Don't lie on me... I really need the toilet" Luke gasped as my elbow prodded his bladder.

"For god's sake Luke just go the toilet. I will make sure Michael gives you your seat back" I shuffled backwards and scrunched my knees up into my chest so that he could get up. Michael pulled me towards him and wrapped his arms around my shoulders.

"Good morning" he whispered, nuzzling into my neck. I shied away from him, pulling his arms from around me and placing my legs onto the floor.

"Good morning, Michael"

"Wanna do something today?" He asked. I had almost erased our kiss from my memory but it was obvious he hadn't. I had to put a stop to this immediately; I couldn't let myself get into the same situation again.

"Michael. Me and Ashton... We're, um" I was struggling for words. I didn't even know what label to put on it. "We've got a thing going on"

"A thing?"

"Yeah. I don't know how else to put it. I'm sorry"

Michael's eyes stuck to me for a while, he wasn't sure what to say or how to react but I could see that he was upset and I wanted to comfort him. I slid my hand onto his thigh and snuggled closer to give him a hug but he pushed me away.

"Don't" he whispered, sounding like a soft little child. "If you're with Anton I need to put some space between us"

"But we can still be friends can't we? We're good friends, right?"

"Alexa. I don't think being friends with you is going to work out at the minute. How can you accept being just friends with someone you love?"

There was that word again.

"Michael you don't love me" I sighed, feeling incredibly guilty yet again.

"Oh, and how do you know?"

"I just-"

"I'm going home. Have fun with Ashton. Anton. Whatever the fuck his name is" Michael stormed out of the flat, leaving me a little bit stunned. I don't know how I had pictured that conversation turning out but I was hoping we could at least be friends.

"What's gone on now?" Luke asked as he wandered out the bathroom and noticed Michael was gone.

"He hates me"

"He doesn't"

"He does and I don't blame him"

Luke sat down next to me, awkwardly throwing his arm around me and patting my hand.

"Go on then, what happened?"

"I told him that nothing could happen between us because me and Ashton are, well... We're kinda dating"

"Kinda dating?"

"Yeah, we're not official but-"

"But he uses you for sex and somehow you mistake that for being the beginning of a relationship?" Luke's point of view was a little bit insulting, he genuinely believed I was dumb enough to allow Ashton to use me. I wanted to yell at him but I couldn't risk losing him either so I stayed quiet, moving out of his grip and nestling up at the other side of the sofa.
