Begging,
Pleading,
All fruitless in the end.
For they choked her,
Strangled her,
Stabbed her,
Killed her.
All she was
Was the girl who cried
Honesty.
But she herself was deceived.
She found out too late
That people don't appreciate honesty,
Even when they say they do.
They want the lie,
And they want to believe it is the truth.
Deception until their last breath of regret.
