The words on the cream colored paper float around,
Their disembodied shapes a result of the ocean swimming in my eyes.
Your company was always so important to me,
The years of laughter and love we shared a canvas full of colors.
Now, as I attempt to read the water-blurred words,
The salts of my tears slip and sink into my cheeks
Gracing me with their presence.
It isn't hard to touch my heart,
But it is no easy task to reside in it.
And for years you have had a place there.
You will never,
Ever be forgotten.
