It was raining yesterday.
I stayed inside and read books.
These simple things I love with all my heart,
That show me stories and emotions.
And the next day,
After the rain had long stopped,
The sun streaming through the windows, illuminating the dust particles,
I glanced around the room
Wondering what to do.
Saw the tablet, the computer, and the phone on the table,
And for a second, I was tempted.
But it passed quickly.I went outside,
And played with others,
Ones who I called
My best friends.My...
Best...
Friends?I wonder.
Back then,
If I hadn't given in to temptation,
Maybe
They would still be here with me today.
And I wouldn't be so
Hooked on
Escaping from reality.
