"Is everybody finished?" The teacher asked looking around the room.

Since nobody had answered automatically then Venus took it upon herself to declare that everybody was finished, "Yes, now can we—,"

"Nope, I'm not done!" Shouted Gerald who made everybody in the classroom groan—even the teacher.

"Until then, everybody be quiet," the woman says before she got back on her phone to continue playing Uno on her phone.

"Hurry up," Venus whispered to Gerald with the kick to his desk chair.

"Don't rush me!" Gerald shrieked.

"We're trying to get out on time," Venus gritted.

"Well, I like to take my time," Gerald tells her, rolling his eyes afterwards.

Venus wanted to smack the hell out of him,,"You little—,"

"Hush Venus, let him work," scolded the teacher.

"Yes ma'am," Venus leaned back in her chair, on the side of her desk she had flipped him off with a fake smile.

"You're always getting in trouble," April giggles shaking her head at her bestfriend who she loved dearly and couldn't get enough of.

"I just think that she doesn't like me," Venus poked her lip out like a child and made a little huff sound.

"I wouldn't either if you were my student," April says underneath her breath.

Venus placed a hand on her heart, "That was rude."

"It was supposed to be," April smiles.

"Mmh, just keep stalking Justin Bieber's Instagram and I'll mind my own business," Venus had told her off sassily.

"Screw you," April flipped her off.

Venus had laughed but then covered mouth quickly once she realized that she was supposed to be quiet. The teacher gave her a stern look in which made Venus sink in her chair even more, deciding to actually be quiet like she was suppose to be doing.

Turning her head, her eyes got caught onto the sight of April's legs. Her eyes trailing up her brown legs, then up onto the checkered pink and white dress she had on her body. It was a very lovely dress and it complimented her skin very beautifully. Venus bit down on her bottom lip as her eyes moved up April's body to catch just a little glimpse of her cleavage that was slightly showing. April's hair was down today, and it fell around her pretty face so gracefully. She always had a nice body that Venus was jealous of, puberty had hit her before it came to Venus during those complicated middle school years. This girl was gorgeous beyond means. And Venus wondered if April knew how ravishing she always looked.

Fuck, what am I thinking? Venus had cursed at herself in her head, soon tearing her eyes away from April and quickly getting on her phone to distract herself.

"Since everybody is done you all are dismissed," says the teacher once the last test was taken up.

"Thank god," Venus praised as she grabbed her backpack to get the hell out of this class—and to get herself away from April for a second.

The petite girl had soon caught up with Venus, purposefully bumping hips with her, "So you're not gonna walk to me to class?"

"I-I was waiting for you," Venus stammered.

"Sure," April bumped hips with her again.

"I was too. So don't question my ways," Venus took a glimpse at April, then back down to her feet.

"I have to because lord knows what goes on in your mind," April sung wrapping an arm around her bestfriend's arm.

Trust me..you wouldn't wanna know, Venus thought to herself.

As they turned the corner they both saw Diana Davine swapping spit with the one and only Kellen Olsson who was enjoying the make out just as much as she was. He had both hands on her butt while her hands ran through his hair. It disgusted both of them to witness this in the hallway—it made them want to gag.

"I guess you're right. Maybe Kellen isn't the guy he appears to be," April spoke out as they walked down the hallway. She had no idea that Kellen was that type of guy. "I see his true colors now."

"I told you it was all a mask," Venus chuckled bitterly. "I'm just looking out for you," Venus smiles before she sung loudly. "Because that's what friends dooo!"

"Don't even start with that," April groaned wanting to pull away but she didn't have the strength to do it.

"Lighten up, will ya? It's Friday and we are suppose to be in good moods today," Venus chirps as her fingers laced with April's so they can obnoxiously swing them back and forth.

"I am in a good mood," April stated in a bland tone.

"You're not showing it," Venus pressed, soon turning a corner.

"What you want me to do? Smile?" April rhetorically asks.

"Yes," Venus nods. "Because you have a beautiful smile."

"I don't either," April says with a shake of her head.

Venus slapped her arm, "Shut up, yes you do."

"Whatever Venus," April sighs.

"I'm just saying, ya know? You look very pretty today..well everyday you look pretty because you are gorgeous," Venus had stopped walking, getting the chance to look at April. "And I just think that you should sport a smile on that face of yours."

"I'm just wearing a dress," April spoke shyly as her head went down to look at her white kicks on her feet.

"But it's a pretty dress," Venus then played with the strap of her dress, her touch gentle. "Especially for a pretty girl like you."

"I um..thanks V," April had grew shy, unlacing her fingers to fiddle with them.

Venus snapped out of her trance and gave April a tight lipped smile, "I'll see you later, okay?"

"O-Okay," April stammered shamelessly. Her heart was beating out of her chest and her face felt like it was on fire. She didn't know why she was feeling this way but she wasn't going to lie and say that it didn't feel good.
