15 : a fuckup

Venus made her way out her room and walked down the hallway of her quiet house. She slung her backpack over her shoulder, making her way into the kitchen where she could grab any food that was in there. It was rare thing since her parents didn't feed her or buy food anymore, but luckily there was a cup of yogurt and a banana sitting in the fridge. The girl closed the refrigerator door and sat down at the table so she could eat her breakfast. She was drained from this horrible week.

Soon the sound of footsteps grew louder as her father walked into the kitchen with a bottle of beer in his hand, but stopped abruptly when he saw that his daughter was in the kitchen, "Why are you here? He asked with a gruff, eyeing his daughter because he thought that she was staying with April. He sat in the chair across from his daughter and gave her a look of annoyance and confusion. "Why are you not with April?"

Venus played with her yogurt, question whispering, "I think I ruined our friendship."

"What the hell does that mean?" Mr. Wratherbee asked aggressively.

"She..she doesn't want to be my friend anymore. April doesn't want me around and she doesn't wanna speak to me either. So we're not friends," Venus clarified with a sad sigh afterwards. "So that's why I'm not with her."

Her father snorted, "You're joking."

"Why would I fuckin' joke about this?" Venus snapped with narrowed eyes.

"Don't catch an attitude with me!" He slammed his fist against the table, scaring her. "You should be catchin' an attitude at yourself because you let the only good thing in your life slip away from you," he had pointed out, and then rolled his eyes with a shake of his head. "Just like your fucking mother. Both of you are just messed up in the head. It's sad how you're a fuckup to everything and everyone."

Venus looked at her father with fearful and sad eyes. She gulped and raised up from her seat, "I'm..gonna leave."

"I don't want you back in this house for a while," her father tells hers chugging some of his beer. "I need my space from you and your mom."

"W-Where am I suppose to go?" Venus asked with her bottom lip trembling. "Why can't I—,"

"Anywhere but here dammit! Find a solution you fuckup!" He yells throwing the beer bottle by the wall next to her. "Now get out!"

Venus ran out the house so she wouldn't let her father see the tears falling down her face. She tightened the grip on her backpack and left the house that she wasn't even welcomed in anymore.

She had cried on the way to the school, and apart of her didn't wanna to go. Venus was a wreck, a damaged emotional wreck. She had ruined her relationship with her bestfriend and now she felt stranded with nowhere to go. And her father was right, it was all of her fault and she was nothing but a fuckup.

All day she didn't see April, and Venus really needed somebody right now. She was the only one who could calm down Venus and make her feel like there was no trouble in the world. Venus regretted saying those hurtful words to April in the bathroom that day. She didn't know what she was thinking when she spewed those venomous words out her mouth like that. And now look, April didn't want to have anything to do with Venus because of it.

It was lunchtime and Venus wasn't really in the mood to eat. As she was walking down the cafeteria a certain laugh caught her ear, and it sounded very familiar.

She turned her head to see that it was April laughing her ass off as if somebody told her the funniest joke in the world, and she looked happy. The people who she was sitting with was also laughing along too. She sat with all the cool kids like the jocks, the cheerleaders, and some very attractive people that attended this school. But what shocked Venus the most is that Diana was sitting right next to April, and they were smiling and laughing with each other like they were the bestest of friends.

Venus's heart dropped to the ground the moment April placed a kiss on Diana's lips, making out with her as the people around them started to cheer them on. She blinked a few times to make sure it didn't really happen, but it did and they were still kissing each other as she stood there watching.

"I told you that you would be of the picture soon," Kellen was now standing in front of Venus with his head wrapped with some bandages. He smirked evilly when tears started to fall down her face. Just when he was about to walk off he turned around and said, "You were always replaceable."
