"Don't answer the door at all, stay inside, and don't burn the house down," instructed Mrs. Dean who was putting on her heels with the help of her husband.

"And no boys," Mr. Dean says sternly then looked over to his wife. "Can you adjust my tie please?"

Mrs. Dean sighed and went over to her husband to fix his tie for the fifth time tonight, continuing what she was saying, "Be sure to clean up if you make a mess."

"We know," April and Venus says at the same time with a knowing sigh.

"And no boys," Mr. Dean repeated seriously.

"We know!" The annoyed girls shouted in unison.

"Okay good. I just had to make that clear," Mr. Dean smiled.

"Because you stay bein' extra dad," April groaned rubbing the bridge of her nose.

"Whatever," the man scoffs before walking out the house.

"We love you girls. We'll be back tomorrow," Mrs. Dean says to the teenagers before blowing them a kiss.

Tonight was Mr. And Mrs. Dean's anniversary night which means that they are going to find a fancy restaurant to eat at and maybe do god knows what at the hotel they booked. Also April's little sister, Sheema, was at their grandmothers house—so the two bestfriends had the entire house to themselves tonight.

"I'll be sure to watch over this child," Venus grinned poking April's cheek in a teasing manner.

"You're rude," April scoffs swatting Venus's hand away.

"I'm so glad that you two finally worked everything out. You guys are practically made for each other," Mrs. Dean says proudly.

Ever since they made up things has been going really well for the two teenage girls. They loved each other deeply and they are relieved that they are on good terms again. It was just a horrible two weeks not being around each other. And they don't plan on separating themselves from one another either.

Even April talked to Diana and decided to end their little fling that they had which was easier than she thought. Diana understood completely. And quite honestly, she was happy that April was back with Venus again because they do belong together.

"We are," Venus cheesed draping her arm over April's shoulders and squeezing her in for a tight hug. "I'm never letting her go."

"Honey!" Called Mr. Dean from outside.

"Men," the mother rolled her eyes. "Anyways, we love you, stay safe, and call us when you need anything."

"Babe!" Shouted her husband once more.

"Alright! Alright! I'm comin'!" Mrs. Dean picked up her dress and walked out the house, being sure to close and lock the door behind her.
