Chapter Seven

Sasha's POV

I slowly walk up the front steps and knock on the door softly. I hear some shuffling and muffled voices until finally the door opens.

"Why hello Sasha!" Bayley's dad says.

"Hey, is Bayley still asleep?" I ask

"No honey she's awake and getting ready for school, you can go see her if you'd like." Bayley's mom says.

"Okay I'll do that, thank you." I say as I walk upstairs. I stop at her door and sigh.

Please don't go horrible, I just need my friend back.

I raise my hand up and knock cautiously on the door. I hear a thud and then the door opens to reveal Bayley rubbing her elbow.

"Bails you okay?" I ask after I see a look of hurt on her face.

"Yeah just fell, I'm fine. What are you doing here Sasha?" Bayley asks making me frown.

"I want to apologize, I know what I said was wrong so forgive me?" I ask making her scoff.

"Really that's it? I'm going to need more convincing before I forgive you. Sasha what you said really hurt okay! You act like getting rejected from you for three years isn't enough pain for me. Instead you decided to go out for my heart and you hurt me, you really did. You probably don't know what a broken heart feels like but when you find out, you'll know how I feel. But you just had to keep going you shattered my heart Sasha, I get that you don't love me back, I get you never will but just spare my feelings at least, please." She says and I feel my eyes water.

I didn't know she felt like this.

I'm such a bitch, how could I just say those things to her? I deserve the worst friend of the year award.

"Bayley I'm sorry I know I told you that already but I am Im really, really sorry. It's been hard not being able to talk to you or make stupid jokes with you. It sucks to not have you Bayley, I need you in my life. Your my best friend and I hate when we fight because I could never imagine losing you, it would kill me. So will you please forgive me Bails?" I ask making the taller girl smile and pull me into a hug.

"I missed you to Sash." She says into my hair.

"I love you." I say and I feel her heartbeat quicken against my head. It doesn't usually affect me when I tell Bayley I love her but this time something just feels different, in a good way though.

"I love you too." She says and I feel my own pulse quicken. Somethings up with me today, maybe I'm just happy that I got my best friend back.

"Finish getting ready for school, I'll wait downstairs." I say and walk out of the room.

After a couple of short minutes of talking with Bayley's parents she finally came downstairs.

Is it just me or did Bayley get like five thousand times more beautiful? No she looks the same as always but she just looks beautiful right now to me for some odd reason.

"Let's go get our education!" Bayley says as we walk out the front door.

"So how was your date last night?" I ask as we get into her car. I found some difficulties saying this sentence but brush it off.

"Perfect, Alexa is amazing I can't believe she even asked me out I'm a lucky girl." Bayley says and I see her eyes sparkle. I felt myself grow angry at how Alexa has affected my friend, she's only supposed have that look when she talks about me!

Whoa pause.

What am I thinking? I don't think I got enough sleep that's why I've been off today.
