Prologue

Bayley's POV

Today's the day.

Finally after years of being in love with my best friend, I'm going to ask her out.

I check the mirror to make sure I don't look like a mess and get out of the car. I nervously walk up to Sasha's front door and knock.

"Hello Bayley" Sasha's dad says making me smile.

"Hey, do you know where Sasha is?" I ask making him nod and let me into the house.

"I believe she is in her room, what's all that for?" He asks referring to the flowers and chocolates I have for her.

"Uh I got them from school" I said. Totally not because I'm about to ask your daughter out.

"Okay?" He says making me smile and walk upstairs to Sasha's room.

She was laying down on her bed listening to music. Even doing the most simplest of things makes her look beautiful.

"Oh Hey Bails!" She says once she noticed I walked in. She ran up to me and pulled me into a hug making my butterflies go crazy.

"Hey Sash" I say. I feel myself become extremely nervous, okay how am I gonna do this?

"What are these for?" She says picking up the flowers and chocolates.

"I-I got them for you." I say making her smile and hug me.

Does this mean she likes me back?

"Aw! Thanks so much Bayley your the best, best friend ever!" She says making me frown.

No she doesn't like me.

Well, you never know until you ask.

"Hey, Sasha I need to tell you something." I say nervously.

"Okay?" She says noticing how serious I am, we both sit on her bed and I take a deep breath.

Here it goes

"So we have been best friends since forever. And we're really close and we get along really well. What I'm trying to say is..I-I love you" I get out making me look at her scared for what she may answer. But to my surprise she smiles and jumps on me.

"I love you to Bay!" She says while hugging me.

"R-really?" I ask making her nod.

"Yes. Your my best friend of course I'm gonna love you! We're gonna grow old together, I'm gonna help you plan your wedding when you meet a cute boy and marry him. We're gonna be neighbors and live with our hot husbands!" She says making my whole world crash.

She thinks I love her

I'm in love with her.

"N-No Sasha" I say making her look at me confused.

"I don't love you, I'm in love with you" I say making her stare at me with no emotion.

"But we're friends" She says making me sigh.

She doesn't like me like that. I should've known better.

"Will you just give me a chance? Maybe you'll like me back!" I try convincing her.

"Bayley, look I don't want you like that okay? I just want us to be friends." She says making me frown.

"But I love you" I say sadly.

"I love you to Bails, just not like that alright? We're still gonna be best friends though, I don't want to lose you." She says trying to cheer me up but it doesn't work.
I feel my eyes beginning to water.

"So you have no feelings towards me?" I asked knowing the answer which would break me.

But she kept quiet.

"Just friends Bayley." She said making me shake my head as my tears began to fall. I quickly ran out of the house despite hearing her and her whole family yelling after me.

That night I went home and cried myself to sleep. The girl I've been in love with for years just rejected me, yay.

Three Years Later

"Well if you went out with me, I wouldn't play you" I tell Sasha who just found out her current boyfriend has been cheating on her.

"Don't start" She says annoyed

This has been my life for three years. Seeing the girl I'm in love with fool around with guys who just use her and are to stupid to see how precious she is.

"I'm just saying" I tell her

"And I'm just saying no, like I have been for the last couple of years!" She yells taking me by surprise, she doesn't usually yell at me.

Three years I've been asking and not even one time have I gotten a, "Sure Bayley I will go out with you" all I get is, "No, but we can be friends"

I don't want friends!

"Sorry, I'm just upset" She apologizes.

"I told you not to be with him Sash, these guys don't know how to treat you right" I say mumbling the last part but I think she heard.

"You should go, it's getting late and we have school tomorrow" Sasha says making me roll my eyes and walk out of her room.

Every time I say something bad about who she dates or likes and it's true, she pushes me out.

One!

Just One!

That all I'm asking for is one chance with her.

But that's never going to happen all she want is to be best friends, why did I fall for her?

Out of the billions of people in the world my heart chose my best friend
