Third Person POV
The weeks slowly passed as Sasha and Bayley didn't talk. Sasha was fed up with her friend and didn't want to even share the same space as her.
This caused Bayley to be sad but she knew it was her fault this was happening and she messed up. Now it was only one week till graduation.
The time flew.
Too fast, Bayley would think.
Too slow, Sasha would think.
The friends, but not really friends, would occasionally bump into each other and share a few words here and there but it didn't do much but create awkwardness.
Of course everyday they would both think of each other and want to talk but it would hurt too much to do so.
Their friends noticed the breaking of their friendship and even tried to repair it but it was no use. They either started arguing or just insulted each other, it wasn't pretty.
Eventually their friends just let it be they figured it would repair itself on its own.
As for relationships, Alexa was still in Bayley's life and they were still dating. Happiest couple ever someone who barley met them would say but what they didn't know was that the taller girls heart still ached for someone else.
For Sasha she found someone, Seth. One day a couple weeks ago the boy walked up to her and shyly asked her out. At first Sasha felt bad so she just said yes out of pity but as their relationship slowly grew she came to the realization that she had feelings for him. Maybe not as strong as the feelings for her ex best friend but there was still something.
Somedays both girls would regret everything and would miss the other dearly.
I miss her
I need her
I want her
I love her
I want to see her smile
I want to hear her laugh
But I'm broken and I don't deserve her.
The final week of their last year of high school quickly came to an end. Now here stood Bayley collecting her diploma and saying goodbye to all the teachers she secretly hated.
Sasha looked on from her seat with a proud smile. Sure she wasn't as fond of her as she used to be but she was still proud.
"Sasha Banks" The principal called her up. She passed Bayley and their eyes connected for a split second.
It was as if a conversation was passed between them. For the first time in a while they were content with each other.
The week after Sasha knew it was time for her to go. Find new places, new people, new everything. What surprised her was that Seth wanted to tag along.
Sasha's POV
It is currently eleven fifty at night right now and I'm out here on the hill.
Why am I out so late?
Well I'm leaving tomorrow with Seth. We don't know exactly where yet but all I know is it's going to be great.
I finished packing earlier and decided to pay this old place a visit. It's going to be my last time visiting here and this place holds a special place in my heart, it always will despite the bad memories it still holds.
At the start of this year I would have never thought that this was going to happen. I thought Bayley and I would still be best friends, now I don't know what we are.
Familiar faces?
Broken hearts?
Ex's perhaps?
"Crap" I hear a voice say.
"Isn't it past your bedtime?" I joke
"Hey, I don't have to go to school anymore." Bayley says, I could see the slight sadness in her eyes as she looked at me.
"This year was crazy." I sigh making her nod and lean against the tree.
"I'm sorry, for all of it." She mumbles
"We always say that to each other, I'm sorry this, I'm sorry that. How about we stop being sorry?" I say making her chuckle.
"I wish, I just fuck things up all the time." Bayley says, running a hand through her hair.
"No you don't. You just make bad decisions but that's not always your fault." I say
"So your leaving tomorrow?" She says, I see her eyes brim with water.
"Yeah, I think it's time." I say making her nod.
"I wish you didn't." She says
"There's nothing here for me if I stay." I explain making her nod.
"So this is the end? No more me and you?" She says as a tear slowly slides down her cheek.
"Yeah, this is it. Don't cry over me Bails you'll do just fine without me." I say causing more tears to fall.
"Will I? I used to think it was going to be you and I against the world, now I don't know what to think." She says
"It's you and Alexa now." I say making her look down and frown a little.
"Where are you guys gonna go?" Bayley asks
"I don't know really. Maybe travel for a few months? Maybe go to college? I really don't know, I'll just have to find out." I say making her nod.
"Sound like fun." She says. I check my phone to see its twelve ten.
"I should get going." I say making her sigh and pout.
"Do a favor for me will you?" She asks sadly.
"Yeah, anything." I say
"Live a good life alright?" She says making me nod and smile.
"I will. You got to do that too though." I say making her nod.
I opened my arms and she quickly hugged me. We held the embrace for a while, missing the warmth of the other person.
"Goodbye" She said as I walked away.
"Goodbye"
