Chapter Twenty Four

Bayley's POV

I await her response nervously, fearing that she might say no.

What if she doesn't want me anymore?

Did her feelings fade?

"I've missed you Bayley, I want us back together but I need to know, what's going on between Sasha and you?" Alexa says softly.

"I already told you, nothing. Her and I are just friends." I explain making her nod and smile.

"In that case, yes I'll go on a date with you." She says making me smile, ear to ear.

"So we're staring over?" I ask

"Yup, a clean slate. I want us to take things slow." Alexa says making me nod.

"Deal. So is tomorrow around seven good?" I ask causing her to hum in thought.

"Yeah, see you then." She says. Alexa leans forward and gently kisses my cheek.

"Oh my, Bayley's in love!" Charlotte teases once Alexa is gone.

"What are you guys doing here?" I ask

"Well we couldn't miss out on this special moment." Becky says

"Where's Sasha and Seth?" I ask

"Still talking, enough about them, how did your talk with Alexa go?" Charlotte says making me sigh.

"We have a date tomorrow." I say making them both smile.

"Yay, your not going to be all sad and single!" Becky says

"Hey! I heard that!" I say making her shake her head.

"Heard what lad?" Becky asks

"Nothing Becks. Guys I'm nervous!" I say

"Nervous for what?" Charlotte asks

"The date! What if something goes wrong?" I say making them giggle.

"I think your date is going to go well Bails, relax." Becky says

"That's what I'm hoping." I mumble.

The bell rang cutting off my stressed out thoughts. I sigh as I walked to class, as I was walking I felt a shoulder softly bump mine.

"Why the worried face?" Sasha asks as we enter class.

"It's nothing Sash." I lie.

I don't have to lie but I want to lie. I can't even imagine the look on Sasha's face if I told her I was going on a date with Alexa.

"I thought we made up? Do you really want to go back to us not talking?" She asks, writing down the notes on the board.

"What no! It's just that I don't- Well, Alexa and I have a date tomorrow." I say hesitantly. Sasha looks down but quickly looks back up with a smile on her face.

"That's great! Wow, um, Bayley that's amazing! When is the uh date?" She asks. I frown, realizing that this is hurting her.

She's trying to act okay, but she's not and it's all my fault.

"Tomorrow, listen let's just get through this last class alright?" I say making her nod.

The class flew by considering we had tons of work.

Before I knew it I was already home, I sighed in relief as I flopped down onto my bed. I felt my eyes grow heavier by the second before I finally fell into a deep sleep.
