Chapter 1: To Survive (Daily Life) Pt. 8

*Ding dong, bing bong*

"Good morning, everyone! It is now 7 a.m. and nighttime is officially over! Time to rise and shine! Get ready to greet another beee-yutiful day!"

"Ugghhh..."

I felt myself roll out of bed and land harshly on the floor. Somehow, I ended up being wrapped in my blanket.

"I feel even more like shit than three days ago..."

I made my bed after getting out of my blanket. As usual, the morning routine. The *one* thing I can at least do without being forced to.

Before I walked out of my dorm...

*Ding dong*

"Huh? Who wakes up early and rings a doorbell?"

I opened the door and a certain jackass came in.

"A fantastic morning, isn't it?!"

He let himself into my room without asking for my permission.

Wow. Such a great example, Mr. Honor's Student.

"Taka?"

"Now then, if you'll pardon the interruption..."

I'll pardon your "interruption" if you don't get the fuck out of my room in the next five seconds.

"No matter how intensely the storm seas may batter me, I will not fall as long as my feet are firmly planted! You agree, right?"

I waved my hand, "Yeah yeah sure. What are you doing here?"

"If you must know, I was thinking about it last night, and... I decided we all need to really get together."

I raised an eyebrow and crossed my arms.

"Okay...?"

"Every morning from now on, after the morning announcement, everyone should have breakfast together! And now is the beginning of that fateful day! Please head to the dining hall at your earliest convenience! That is all! We will all be waiting for you!"

Before I could say a thing, Taka left without saying another word. I groaned in complaint and exhaustion.

"Welp, guess I have no choice. Besides, this course of action is the best thing we have right now. Smart thinking, Mr. Honor's Student."

I walked out of the room, making sure to lock the door behind me. I swung my key around before putting it in my pocket.

I headed to the dining hall while taking my sweet time.

Once I've arrived in the dining hall, I saw everyone here. I sat on the same table I sat on two days ago. I don't even bother sparing a glance at the prick.

"Okay, looks like everyone's here. So then, let's begin our very first 'breakfast meeting'!"

I wonder how this is going to turn out. Yes, I give him credit for coming up with this idea, but I know that not *everything* will go well in this meeting. Future meetings, maybe. Not getting my hopes high though.

"Everyone, thank you for making time in your busy schedules to come together."

"I didn't make time for shit. You dragged me here..."

Already guessing how this meeting will go, I stood up and headed into the kitchen. I found a peach yogurt in the fridge and immediately took it out. I got a spoon and took the cover off before taking a bite.
