12/14/22: These two books do not make much sense from what I can remember. By the second book, I think I'd forgotten about a couple entire characters and plot lines lmao. So, if you choose to read on from here (or have already read these)... have fun with that! In the years since making these, I've gathered folders of art and dozens of google documents world-building, planning, writing scenes, etc. I've started writing the new The Winged Warrior saga, but the earliest anything would come out is sometime in 2023. I look forward to embarking on this (probably much improved) journey again when that happens?

Prologue

The man screamed in pain, clutching his head as his body seemed to tear itself apart.

He dropped the jar of turtle babies, and barely noticed how they tumbled into the mysterious, glowing green ooze.

Among the cries of pain, a raven perked up from where it was perching on a nearby building ledge. When it's beady eyes landed on the smallest turtle, it let out a caw, soaring downwards with it's claws outstretched.

The youngest brother had no way of defending himself, and could only gaze up with wide eyes as the scary creature reached out to grab him...

But the now mutated man punched the raven away, causing it to veer to the side, letting out a surprised screech.

But as it flew away into the night sky, a fluffy black object drifted downwards. The youngest turtle watched it with his small round eyes, filled with wonder and awed confusion.

The fallen feather landed on the back of his shell, before sinking deep into the spilled mutagen.

And that's where it all began...
