KIRA

"OH lookie" the creepy thing said, smiling at me like a child who found a lollipop, his yellow and brown teeth fully visible. I gulped audibly, goosebumps rising on my skin. Spider man looked between me and him, not believing that this was happening.

"Run" Spider man screamed at me, before diving into the guy. I jumped out of the closet and ran down the empty hall, not having the will to turn around and see what was happening behind me. I felt something coming behind me, and my sixth sense asked me to duck. Spider man flew above and crashed on the floor  in front me, creating cracks as he slid down the hall.

My hands clamped my mouth, stopping a scream. I hear heavy footsteps behind me, the sound of metal against floor, moving towards me. Slow and steady, building fear inside me. I didn't turn around afraid of what he was going to do to me. Tears spilled down my eyes as I sobbed uncontrollably on the floor, my fear uncontainable. I could feel him behind me, and the thought that this could be my end entered my head.

"SHE DIE.." he said, his voice a mere hiss, "I KILL"  his shadow covers mine  in front of me, and I see him raise his hammer like metal hand in the air, ready to smash me. I close my eyes, waiting for the impact, the pain. Suddenly I feel myself pulled into the air. I open my eyes to see that spider man had pulled me away from the guy who wanted to kill me and now I lay stuck to the ceiling. Blood filled my head, making it very painful, but some how I was glad I was still alive. The hammer hand left a big hole in the floor, where supposedly the crushed pieces of my head should have been.

"ARGH!!!" the metal man screams in frustration, "I KILL, YOU FIRST!" He charged towards spider man, but this time spider man was prepared. He  jumped over the metal man, sending him crashing into a one of the classroom. They both disappeared in there, away from my view.  Let me tell you one thing, being stuck to the ceiling with no where to run and with no idea who was winning inside that tiny room was absolutely terrifying. If some how, god forbid, that metal thing came out of that hole that once used to be a door, I swear I'll die out of heart attack. I heard sounds of struggle, grunts and growls, scratches and crashes, and finally one final sound of the window breaking. It was all silent from there. I held my breath, as I strained my ears to get a clue who had won. I thank my lucky stars as I see Spider man walk, sorry limp, out the hole. I breath in relief. His suit was torn at several places, and I knew he was injured bad. But other than that, he seemed fine, and alive.

"Hi" I whisper as he helps me out the web and puts me back safely on the floor. My head was spinning, and I felt dizzy by the minute. He tilts his head, and it made me feel awkward. I didn't know what made me feel more awkward, the fact that I just said 'hi' to the guy who saved me, or I was talking to a guy in a mask unable to read his expressions. Spider man nods at me before leaping off to find an exit. "Hope spider man never has to see you again." he shouts before turning at a corner of the hallway disappearing from my sight. Under normal circumstances that sentence would have hurt any girl's feelings, but I knew spider man meant it in a way that he hoped I never find myself in trouble again, and he never has to come rescue me. But I had a different thought.

" But I hope I see you again spider man." I whisper, and this time hoping I could say thank-you to him for all the things he had done for me.
