Amy' pov

Getting out of Mark's grasp is hard but I HAVE to pee! Once I got out I darted to the bathroom, I felt a little dizzy but I just woke up. Once I was done I crawled back into bed under Mark's arm, he is so safe. I tried falling back to sleep but nothing worked. Maybe I do sleep too much during the day. I looked out the window watching the stars, so peaceful. I went to turn my head to look at Mark but my leg had a weird pain go through it, Something pinched me in the restaurant's bathroom in that spot but I wasn't able to see what it was. I laid back down and closed my eyes, my chest started to get really tight and it was getting harder to breathe.

"Mark," I called out but my voice was too quiet.

I reached out for him but everything went black before I could.

Mark's Pov

"Baby girl, it's time to wake up," I said trying to sit up she was laying on top of me.

She didn't move.

"Amy?" I felt for a pulse, it's there but low. "Amy! wake up." I sat fully up as she fell back to the bed. I grabbed my phone and called for ambulances. It didn't take them long to get here, They connected her to some machines and loaded her into the back, I went with them.

"Do you know what is wrong?" I was trying not to cry.

"It can be a number of things."

They looked at the old bruises then at me.

"Look in her file, you will see it wasn't me." I glared at him.

When we got to the hospital they had me wait in the waiting area, a few nurses played 20 questions with me thinking that I am the one that hurt her.

My phone went off.

"Dude, what the fuck?" Sean asked.

"They think I hurt her. They are not looking into her files."

"That because there is no file, Jorden deleted them all."

"WHAT?"

"Relax, me being the smart one made copies. I am faxing it to the hospital as we speak."

I looked for the fax machine, it is in one of the offices with papers coming through.

"I see it, The nurse is walking to it now."

"She should turn pale when she reads just one of the pages."

"and right on cue, she looks like she is going to barf."

"Now they will see that you are telling the truth and you will be able to go back with Amy to see what is going on with her."

"I owe you, thank you."

"Keep me updated."

As soon as we ended the call the nurse came over,

"I am so sorry, please come this way."

I followed her down the hall to Amy's room.

"What happened?" I asked.

"We are still not sure, her pulse is getting stronger."

"That's good."

"Yes, but she still is not awake yet."

We walked into her room she was just laying there with tubes and wires connected to her. I sat next to her just like I use too.

"I'm here baby girl, take your time. You are safe." I said playing with her hand.

A couple of doctors came in and we talked but they all said the same thing, they don't understand what caused this to happen.
