18 (part two)

Mark's Pov

I took a deep breath then walked into the room.

"Hello, my name is Mark," I said sitting down at the table.

"No officer in front of that?"

"No, sir, I am no longer an officer. I left the force a little bit ago."

"Your the man who was with Amy at the mall."

"Yes, sir."

"How do you know my daughter?"

"I am the officer who saved her."

"Thank you, I tried to save her but they found me."

"Who found you?"

"Some asshole name Kenny, He noticed who I am and got some other guy named Bubba, they took me into a shed. I begged them to let her go but they laughed. They said they had a deal with my wife. How the hell could she turn her back on her own daughter? Yeah, they fought a lot but what other mother and daughter didn't fight? She took it to far." He was getting ready to cry.

"What did they do to you?"

"They beat me then dragged me to a strange room, they tied me to a chair. There was a one-way window and they brought Amy in." He was in full tears. "They forced me to watch while they hurt her, the more I fought the harder and crazier they got with her. She was begging them to stop, I had to stop fighting. Once I calmed down they stopped hurting her. They saw that I figured out their plan so they took me away again. I was moved to some farm area in the middle of fucking nowhere! Everything I tried to escape they hurt Amy. I got wind of her being saved, so I made a plan to get out of there. Once I found my way back home I saw you two getting into a car and driving away. She was in tears. I opened the front door and they turned on me! My own wife wanted me to go back to that hell hole so she can keep getting money! They changed her. She is not the women I fell in love with. I don't know if they hurt her until she changed or if the money did. I just want my family back."

"Sir, I am extremely sorry that this has all happened to you I really am, but to get the justice we need your help. I 100% fully believe that you are Amy's dad. The DNA test will prove that as well, but we need to know more information about the night Amy disappeared."

"I told the other men already, they know everything. Just please promise me she is saved."

"She is safe sir, I will not let anything happen to her."

"My dad senses are tingling, are you two dating?"

"Yes sir, after she has been saved she attached to me. She said I was the only male who was nice to her. After that, we have been inseparable, if something bad was to happen to her I would lose my mind. We had a couple close calls, Kenny is not giving up. They have a bounty out on her."

"That asshole!"

"The bounty has reached wanted for dead."

"How could he?"

"All they see is money, but don't worry. She is safe, she is here eating in a different room."

"When can I see her?"

"Not until the DNA test comes back."

"So a couple weeks?"

"Some time, but as soon as you can see her I'll make sure you can."

"Thank you."

"You do know that your wife went on the news every year she went missing begging someone to come forth with information on your missing daughter. That is how we found her, Amy saw her on tv and freaked out. She thought everyone forgot about her."
