Mark's Pov

"It has been a few days since the hospital events, how do you feel?" Ethan asked Amy.

"Sleepy." She said curling up on my lap.

"Have you talked to Dr. Larkin today?" I asked moving some hair from her eyes.

"Yes, I called her while you were in that meeting."

"Well, we have good news and worrying news," Sean said walking into the living room, Tyler walked in behind him.

"What's going on?" I asked.

They both looked at each other, Tyler motioned for Sean to go first.

"Well, since my news is the worrying one I will tell you. Kenny has requested to talk to you and Amy. He said that he wants face to face and if they let it happen he will tell us every buyer he knows information."

"So, they are going to force her to talk to him?" I asked.

"They know how much damage he did to her, so they are talking about it, but it does look like they are trying to set up a time for everyone."

"If it means that everyone is freed, and those scumballs are put away and Mark stays with me the whole time. I will do it."

"Are you sure?" Ethan asked.

"Yes. It needs to be done."

"What is the good news?" I asked.

"I talked to Mallon, and he approved of you taking a week off with pay and we are working on paying for the week for you guys get away from everything. No work, no meetings, no laptop unless you are talking to Dr. Larkin."

"Thank you, how did that get approved?"

"He feels it is the least he can do with Rosanna, you guys will leave next week. He wants to talk to you about where you guys want to go."

"Thank you," Amy said.

"Back to the worrying news, if the meeting takes place they want this to happen as soon as possible, so we will have to have it before your trip," Sean said.

"There are only four days before Monday," I said.

"Yep."

"It's going to be okay, if I have to go then I will. Just please don't let him call me any of those names." she hid her face into my chest.

"I will knock all of his teeth out." I held her even tighter, I hope this doesn't get approved.

"Hey, doesn't this place have parties every month?" Ethan asked.

"Yeah, we missed them, maybe we can go to the next one if you like?" I asked.

"Maybe."

"No one is going to hurt you, you have me and Chica to protect you."

"Thank you."

"We will find more information out the meeting soon."

"Hey, I got good news," Ethan said. "I move into my new place tomorrow."

"Nice! Do you need help moving?" I asked.

"Not moving but I do need help unpacking. PLEASE!"

"Of course! But you have to buy us food." Amy said laughing.

"Deal! Chicken tenders for everyone!"

Chica ran in wagging her tail.

"Chica wants some!" Amy said.
