Mark's Pov

When I woke up Amy was wrapped around me, Chica was sleeping on our feet. Both of them finally calmed down enough to get sleep, that or needing sleep won. What the fuck happened last night? I reached for my phone and texted Sean.

Amy's dad buys slaves, he claimed he found Amy but they convinced him how "wonderful" this lifestyle is and if he keeps quite then he got deals on people. Amy's mom knew but she didn't say anything. She was worried her reputation would be hurt. Amy found out by his phone going off. Her mom tried to kidnap us to keep us from telling everyone. She doesn't know but her mom tried to pull a knife out on me to stop me from leaving. I threw her into the wall.

A million things have to be going through her head right now, I moved some of the hair from her eyes. She still wants to get a haircut, we have been so busy. I am surprised she hasn't cut it herself. Maybe I can set up a spa day for her and she can be spoiled. I need a haircut too.

My phone went off.

WHAT THE FUCK? I will look into it, do you want me to set up them being arrested?

Chica sat up looking at me, guess she is ready to start the day.

I slid my phone in my pocket then picked Amy up as I stood up. I carried her around as I made a pot of coffee then called down to the front desk to order breakfast. The look on the girl's face when I opened the door and she saw Amy wrapped around me sleeping is something I will always remember. I opened the door for the porch and Chica ran out, I don't know how I managed to do all of this and sit on the chair outside without waking her up but she didn't wake up. Once I set my coffee down my phone went off.

Mark, please. I know Amy is mad at me but I did what I felt was right. If I turned them in then they would have hurt her! I don't know if her phone is off or if she doesn't want to talk to me but please. Help me.

She is sleeping, she has been up all night having nightmares about the truth, if you would have done the right thing then she would not be in pain. How is raping these people keeping her safe?

You went out into the news and begged people to help find her but you only did it for show. She has been begging you to spend time with her but you guys are always busy. You guys are the real monsters. If you really love your daughter you would have never done this to her. She has lived most of her life without you, once she heals from this. She will do just fine without you.
