"You're a sight for sore eyes, Kitten." Barrett states as Asher hurriedly unties his pants from his ankle and slips them on. The look that was on the other mans face causes Asher's cheeks to heat up, in turn making him angry at himself.
"Who are you and what do you want." Asher demands instead of asks after shaking his head, pushing his emotions back, knowing that this wasn't the time or the place.
"The man of your dreams." Barrett whispers, a smirk on his lips as he circles around Asher the same way that he had just done to him.
Growling, Asher lunges and tackles Barrett just as he finishes walking around him once.
Straddling him, Asher grabs both of the other man's arms with one of his and pins them above Barrett's head.
"Has anyone ever told you that you have beautiful eyes?" Barrett asks as he stares into Asher's with his own.
"Who are you?" Asher growls, using his right hand to apply pressure on Barrett's throat.
"It's really hard to talk when you can't breathe." Barrett wheezes, enjoying himself and the position that they were in.
Asher glares and applies more pressure to the man's throat, watching him choke for a few seconds before easing his hold, allowing him to gulp the air down.
"My names Barrett and I'm an elf." He tells the lion, hoping that he was satisfied with the answer.
"What are you doing here?" Asher asks, confusion clear on his face as he looks into Barrett's violet eyes.
"To help you, Kitten."
"Don't call me that." Asher growls, his hand tightening on Barrett's throat, causing the elf to smile as he struggles to breathe.
"You like it." Barrett chokes out, liking the way Asher's cheeks turned pink.
"No, I don't." Asher grunts, tightening his hand, watching the elfs face turn a shade of blue.
"This.. isn't.. fun.. anymore.." Barrett struggles to get out, he begins to wiggle his body, nervous that the lion was actually going to choke him to death.
Right before Barrett is going to pass out, Asher lets go and stands up, walking away from the elf, keeping his back to him.
Barrett coughs and takes a deep breath as he sits up, chugging the air as his hands went to his throat.
"Choking is fun and all but I think you went a little far." The elf tells Asher as he gets onto his wobbly legs, his body struggling to hold him upright.
Once he is able to stand up without the threat of toppling over, Barrett glances at the werelion that was standing a few feet away from him.
Guilt filled him when he noticed that the man was shaking, clearly upset.
Not knowing what to say, Barrett walks up to Asher and pulls on his right arm, turning his body around and to his so that Barrett was able to hug him.
Ashers instincts were to push him away, to fight, but a strange feeling over takes him, making him feel safe in the other man's arms, he slowly wraps his around Barrett and begins to cry.
Barrett just holds the other man, letting him sob, knowing that he needed it.
They stood there for a good ten minutes before Asher begins to pull away, sniffling and wiping at his face much like a child would.
"I need to go. If you are needing to go to the portal then I can escort you there." Asher states, not looking Barrett in the eyes because he was embarrassed to do so after his crying fest.
Asher only waits for a few seconds before he begins to walk in the direction of the portal.
"Wait, Kitten." Barrett says, not moving from his spot.
"What?" Asher asks, choosing to ignore the Kitten comment as he turns around to look at Barrett.
"I have a few things that you might want to hear." Barrett tells him, tilting his head to the side as he watches Asher bounce on his feet.
Barrett knew that the man that was standing in front of him was nervous.
"I can't stay any longer." Asher explains, glancing the way that he should be heading, a nervous look in his face.
"Then come back here when you are able to." Barrett tells him, wondering why the lion was acting so antsy.
Before Asher was able to give Barrett an answer a werewolf shoots through the trees and stops right in front of Asher before shifting.
"Asher, Gheorgie was beginning to worry." The wolf said as he shifted, not worrying about being naked, knowing that he was just going to shift again.
The wolf was the same wolf that Asher had sent to the portal before they had left to track Luna's scent.
"Oh, yeah, sorry, I just needed to take a break." Asher tells the man as he glances at the spot that Barrett had just been standing in mere seconds ago.
"He wants you to stay at the portal to help the guards check everyone on their way in and out." The werewolf explains, walking back the way he came.
"Alright." Asher sighs, glancing one more time at the spot the elf had been before slipping his pants off of his body and tying them to his ankle.
Barrett grins, enjoying the little show that the lion was putting on for him as he watches through the trees.
Something fluttered inside him when the lion looked once more around the forest before shifting and running with the wolf towards the portal.
He sighed and tried to get comfortable in the tree, knowing that there was no possible way that he was going back to the vampire kingdom anytime soon, especially when he was now planning to turn his back on his master.
Barrett closes his eyes, imagining the lion.
