"What's your plan?" Luna asks as she sits on the couch that was in the middle of the living room.
"Plan?" Came Shadows deep voice from his spot in the kitchen.
The lantern was sitting on the table that was to her left, leaving him in almost complete darkness as he searched through every cabinet for something to eat.
"Well, you have succeeded in taking me." Luna tells him, holding her pointer finger up, not realising that the man had turned to look at her.
"How do you think you're going to get me out through the portal?" She asks him, raising her middle finger halfway, keeping her eyes trained on it, thinking of the possible ways that he could actually get her through the portal.
Shadow turns back around so that he was facing the cabinets, not happy about how easily the young girl could get him riled up.
"Why would I tell you?" He grumbles before slamming the pantry door closed.
"Because I should be informed of the way that your going to fail so that I can prepare." She states, turing to him with a glare on her face, confidence evident in her eyes.
"What makes you think that I'm going to fail?" Shadow snaps, twisting around to face her, breathing a bit faster as the beast begins to pull at him, begging to teach the human a lesson.
"You failed the second that you brought me here instead of straight through the portal." She hisses, crossing her arms in front of her as she stands and turns to face him, not able to see how angry that her statement had made him.
Shadow slams his hands down onto the counter, causing Luna to jump and drop her arms from her chest.
"That's it." He growls, stalking towards her.
Luna sits back onto the couch, hoping that she hadn't just signed her death warrant.
The young woman knew that he wasn't able to think straight when he was angry which is why he had brought her here instead of through the portal, causing them to be stuck in her world.
"You're just mad because I'm right." She spits at him, anger clear on her face, as she pushes herself further into the couch, hoping that it would somehow protect her against the large man.
"Shut up." Shadow demands in a strained voice as he steps closer to her, fighting against the beast.
Luna gets off of the couch and makes a run for it to the bedroom but ends up tripping over a raised floor board and falling face first onto the ground.
The beast was finally able to push Shadow hard enough that he had a small bit of control over the man's body not allowing Shadow to catch the girl. He instead waits until she had hit the floor, her hands catching her, before grabbing her by her arms and the dragging her into the dark bedroom.
Before he had made it through the door completely, Luna had caught sight of his eyes. They were a mixture of amber and black, the two colors swirling around as they fought for dominance.
Before she was able to convince herself that that was totally normal her left foot banged itself on the bottom of the metal bed, making her bite her bottom lip to keep herself from crying out.
After roughly tossing her onto the mattress, she watches him, not daring to move, as he bends down and grabs something from his bag.
Since she wasn't able to see through the dark, Luna wasn't able to make out what he had in his hands as he walks back to her.
She backs up against the wall, hoping with everything in her that he wasn't going to torture her.
"Arms." He grumbles, his left hand out, waiting for her to place her arms in it.
Instead of doing as she was told she shakes her head no and places her hands underneath her, letting out a shaky breath.
Shadow growls with impatience and yanks her left arm, pulling her hand out from under her, tying rope around it.
After he ties both of her wrists together he ties them to the left side of the bed, making sure that they were tied correctly.
"Don't try anything." He grunts, pulling at a piece of the rope which tightened them, making Luna whimper.
"Okay." She whispers as Shadow walks out of the room, slamming the door shut with so much power that the walls shake..
Luna flinches, fully expecting the door to break.
She winces, regretting the small movement which had cause the ropes to rub against her skin.
"Twat." She whispers as tears begin to fall from her eyes.
After pulling at the rope, for what seemed like hours, without them loosening, she decides to just give up.
Laying on her left side, she wiggles around, trying to make herself comfortable.
When she gets into the best position that she could she lays her head on her left bicep and watches the trees move through the window that was opposite of her.
Her breathing begins to even out as she watches the leaves on the trees move with the wind.
Instead of fighting the sleepiness she let it consume her, closing her eyes, she instantly fell asleep.
Shadow moves away from the bedroom door when he is sure that Luna had fallen asleep.
Listening to her slow, deep breaths were calming him down, making the beast easier to control, allowing him to push him away, and back to where he should be.
Shadow was trying to find out why the small girl made him angry so easily, he knew that he had anger problems but he was usually able to keep the beast at bay.
For some reason the beast had decided to stay here, causing him to inevitably be stuck in the world in which he was currently being hunted, signing either his death or enslavement to the vampire king.
Shadow knew that he was supposed to leave the second he had taken Luna from the castle but he didn't, why?
He stops pacing and rubs his hands over his face, a pained sound coming from his mouth.
After standing there for a while guilt starts to settle into him. Not liking that feeling he quietly makes his way to the bedroom door and opens it.
When he sees Luna curled up on the bed his heart instantly speeds up, making its presence known.
Without knowing it, Shadow places his left hand over his heart, and gets mad at himself for allowing the beast to tie her up.
Before making his way to the bed Shadow curses at the beast, who was still angry with the girl.
Shadow slowly and gently begins to untie her wrists from the bed and winces when he sees the blood that coated them, showing him that she had tried to get free of the rope.
After laying Lunas arms down onto the bed he places the rope in his bag and grabs one of his shirts and begins to rip it, making sure that each strand was the right length.
When he was sure that he had enough fabric he then pulls out a small container that held a paste his people used to make, it helped with the healing process and made it less likely that the wound would scar.
Making sure that he had everything, Shadow makes his way back to the bed and gets to his knees so that he didn't have to bend over to grab her hands.
After rubbing a thick layer of the green paste onto Lunas wrists he ties the long pieces of his shirt around them, stopping every time she moved.
When he was finished he stood up and pulled the blankets that were on the bed up and over her.
Making his way back to his bag, he put the container that held the paste within it inside and then walked back to the bed, standing at the foot of it.
After convincing himself that she would be okay and the she was completely tucked in he sat on the small chair beside the bed and leaned back, looking at the ceiling, wondering why either of those things mattered to him.
