My alarm woke me up bright and early on wednesday morning. I groaned and shut it off as i tumbled out of bed.

I trudged over to Cassie's room and banged on her door.

"What the hell do you want?!"

"My first ultrasound is today so get up!"

I heard a groan and a bang so i left her to it as i went to wake Darcy.

"Hun, get dressed."

"Where are we going?"

"The doctor. I need to get ready now ok?"

"Alright mummy."

I'm not sure why but i just really am not in the mood right now.

I threw on some sweats and a hoodie. Darcy skipped in as i was finishing off my ponytail. She had on a tshirt and leggings.

"Is auntie ready yet?"

"Yeah said she's waiting in the car,"

I nodded and grabbed my keys. Darcy took my hand in hers and we walked outside together.

"Mummy look!"

Darcy pointed outside and my eyes followed hers. They led me to the fluffy white snow sitting in the front yard.

"I know, Dar. It's snowing," I smiled.

"Can we play?"

"When we get back we definitely will have to."

Darcy grinned widely and I walked her to her side of the car. I buckled her up and got into my seat.

"Dude turn on the heat it's so cold!"

I rolled my eyes at Cassie, but reluctantly did what she said.

"You could've said please," I say as she glares at me.

"To hell with that it's colder than the North Pole in here!"

"Swear jar!" Darcy gasped.

"Sorry," Cassie mumbled, obviously embarrassed that she'd been caught by a five year old. She pulled out a dollar and handed it to me as we pulled into the parking lot.

"Thank you very much," I smirked.

We got out and headed inside.

"Name please."

"Emma Styles."

Her eyes widened at the name but just nodded and motioned for us to follow her.

"Wait in here. Dr. Green will be with you soon."

I nodded and took a seat on the patient chair and Cassie and Darcy sat on the bench beside it.

"Mummy I'm bored," Darcy whined.

I pulled out my phone and headphones and plugged them in.

"What do you wanna listen to?"

"Daddy," she mumbled. "I miss him."

I looked into the sad blue-green eyes that Harry gave her.

"I know baby. We'll see him soon."

"Promise?"

"Promise," I smiled. I shuffled his Midnight Memories playlist and handed it to Darcy. She took it happily and put the head phones in her ears as a blonde woman walked in.

"Hi, I'm Doctor Green. How are you?"

"Good, thanks."

"Great. Now I'm going to put this jelly on your stomach. If you could just lift your shirt, this will be a little cold."
