Chapter 5

~Invisible Eye P.O.V~

We arrived at the hospital and stood outside for a moment and realized we weren't family to either one of the girls we are about to see. We didn't even know if they would let us go see them. I walked in with my friend following close behind me. We reached the front desk at the hospital "Hi is there something I can help you with?" the nurse asked.

"Ummm... yes we came to see the two girls that were invovled in the drunk driving acceident."

"Well are you guys family of the girls?" the nurse looked very confused at us.

"No but we were the people tha called 911 and one of the officiers on the scene said we could come and see them," I said hoping she thinks I am telling the truth.

"Well no one can go back right now Mr. and Mrs.Owens are sitting over there," she said as she pointed toward the waiting room to see two people crying. The woman had blue eyes and red hair while the man had black hair with green eyes. My friend and I walked over too the couple and introduced ourselves. I stuck out my hand for a handshake " Hi I am Jake Pitts this here is my friend Andy we are the ones that called 911. We are sorry your daughters were in the accident." I said looking into there sad eyes.

They let out a couple sniffles and then the man spoke, "Hi Jake, Andy thank you for calling the cops but we only have one daughter and the other girl is her friend. Do you know our daughter from school or from something else?"

"No i don't know her but we wanted to see if they are okay so we talked to an officer in the seen to see what hospital they were going too and if we could go and see if they were okay. What are their names?"

"My daughters name is Violet and her friends name is Dakota. I hope they are okay?"

"Did they go to a concert tonight sir?"

"Yes they did actually why?"

"Because after our band played every band that was there had a meet and greet out side of the venueand I remember two girls came and took pictures and one had us sign her shirt. I remember that one had a hurt voice from screaming too much and said her name was Dakota."

Andy spoke up for the first time since we walked into the hospital, "I remeber them the one with the hurt voice was short and I had to bend down to take a picture with her and also with your daughter I had to bend down."

"You have the right girls they are short well Dakota is shorter than Violet and did the shorter one have redish purple hair?" The man spoke up realizing we knew who the girls were.

"Yes she did actually." Andy answered before I did.

"Well at least you know who they are," the man answered. As he finished what he was saying a nurse called them over to talk to them and said that Andy and I to please stay where we were. I looke over in that direction as the nurse must of said some bad news I couldn't read her lips, but whatever she said made the mother cry histerically. I couldn't help but to feel sad and sorry for parents that had to go through this no one what to be in an accident and no one wants to find out that there child was rushed to the emergency room because of a drunk driver.
