Chapter 6

~ Dakota's P.O.V~

I woke up in an ambulance and had no idea why I was in there or what happened that let me to be in here. The last thing I remember that I was in the car with Violet and we were leaving the venue.

"Where's Violet?" I croaked it hurt so badly but I had to know where Violet is and is she okay.

"She is in an different ambulance hun," the female paramedic.

"What happened?" Still trying to talk even though it hurt badly.

"You two were in a accident involving a SUV and a drunk driver."

"Is she okay?"

"We haven't made it to the hospital for a doctor examine you two. What happened to your voice?"

"I screamed too much at a concert." I said in almost a whisper. She reached down and felt on my neck to check if I did something serious.
"Well you didn't hurt yourself too bad we will give you something for that and try not to talk too much you might make it worse." I nodded and didn't ask anymore questions.

I wonder if Violet is okay. What are they going to do when they find out that my parents aren't home and won't be fore a month. I know I turn 18 in two days will they be alright that I am by myself. It would be pointless to try to put me in foster care for two days until I am a legal adult.

We arrived at the hospital and I was rushed in making sure I could see and I could hear the paramedic told them what happened to my voice and they examined that and took some blood and other samples. They finally put me in a room it was very boring and the asked me to right down my name and address and my birthday, with any other patient would have to say it out loud or have there ID. With my parents always being gone and me not having a card I did not have a ID or a License. I know how to drive I have drove Violets car before. I was planning on getting my ID the week after I turned 18.

The nurse asked me a question, "Do you have a number to get a hold of your parents with?" I shook my head "Oh do they have a phone and you don't know the number or do they not have a phone?" she questioned me again while handing me a piece a paper. I wrotet My parents left yesterday for a wedding anniversary and told me they would call from there hotel room if I needed anything. She looked at me with confusion I guess she saw through my lies and said, "You turn 18 in two days I cannot put you in foster care but you will have to stay with someone over 18 until then." I shook my head so she new I understood her. "I will be back in a little bit to see if you are okay you do have visitors, but we are not allowed to let anyone in the room untill a hour after you have been here." I nodded in agreement.

A/N i hope you like my story I am updated three chapters at a time so you have some reading...
