Chapter 15

~Dakota's P.O.V~
-End of May-
I can't be more happier than I am with the guys they are so sweet but they forced me to quit my job and said that they will take care of the bills and food since they are in their early twenties. I graduate in two weeks I can't believe it now I get to live the life style that my parents have lived since I was young.
I have done nothing but studying and homework I never have anytime. I go and see Violet on the weekends she got a new laptop so we would video chat while I go to warped. Jake and the guys are so excited for me to go to warped. I know I will miss being able to see Violet in person. I wanted her to go but after the accident her parents barely let her out of their sight. I would have fun with the guys an they said that they are introducing me to every band they knew and only of I wanted to. I was so thrilled that I would be going to to warped I have dreamt about this since I was like 13. I couldn't believe it.
I snapped out of my thoughts and realized I have been laying here for what seemed like and a hour and no one was bothering me that was strange for the guys I rolled over on my stomach and checked my phone. For course I spoke to soon I looked at my messages and there was 12 messages and they were all from the guys I read them all- two each from the guys and two from Violet. I didn't respond to the guys and responded to Violet. I walked downstairs to see all the guys practicing I didn't say anything making sure they couldn't hear or see me. And listen then they stopped and sat there for a second before Jake spoke up "ummm guys I don't know how to say thing but ummm...." he stopped. "What is it man?" Jinxx asked. Jake quickly mumbled under his breath about something but no one could understand. "Speak up or forever hold you peace," CC said trying to figure out what he was going to say. Then after a couple seconds Jake hide his face and said "I think I like Dakota." everyone sat there shocked. I slowly climbed the stairs before anything else was said is don't think I was suppose to here that. I went upstairs and laid back down and acted like I was asleep until I heard foot steps coming down the hallway towards my room who ever it was stopped in front of the door and waited a while before knocking. They knocked and I acted like I didn't hear if and they knocked again. I sat up acting groggy and said "come on," I heard their hand on the knob "are you dressed?" "Why would I tell you to come in of I was naked?" Andy stood in my door way smiling an answered "Because come on look at me." He laughed I threw a pillow at him. "Why was that for?" Andy said making puppy dog eyes. "Cause you are like a brother to me I don't want to here that from you." I said trying not to laugh. "So why did you come up here?" I asked looking at him confused. "Cause I miss you!" He said running to me. I flinched as he gave me a hug. "I'm not letting go until you hug back!" He yelled. I still refused to hug back. "You asked for it" he yelled I heard multiple foot steps coming up the stairs. "NEVER!" I screamed which is the dumbest idea ever all the guys joined in squishing me almost to death. "I finally hugged Andy back and the guys. I hate hugs. "What are we going to do today?" Jake said almost blushing.
"Umm idk I kinda want to dye my hair," I said. all the guys looked at me like I was crazy. "What I am going to warped and I don't want to have plain hair," I looked at my fading auburn hair. "We can get dye while we are out I want to go shopping," Ashley said. All the guys agreed. "She needs new clothes anyways," CC said. The guys left my room to get ready I got dressed in a hippie chic type outfit and waved my hair and put a braid headband on. I knew I was going to be the old ball but I didn't care. I finished getting ready and headed down stairs.
