Chapter 9

~Dakota's P.O.V~

I walked into my house it looks as I left it on Friday. I walked up to my room and turned on the radio and put the AUX cord in my phone and turned it up loudly and went to the bathroom and take a shower. After the shower I wrapped myself in my towel and headed to my closet. I picked out a pair of black legging and a sweater you would see a grandpa wearing. I don't always wear band tshirts and skinny jeans. I went to my book shelve to pick out my favorite book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Caroll. I picked up my book and turned the music off and headed downstairs.

I made a cup of hot chocolate and headed for the back yard. We have a covered porch that I love sitting on especially when it was raining. I sat on the chair and sat the cup on the little table next to the chair. I started reading and read for a while until it stopped raining and I ran out of hot chocolate . I went in and cleaned my cup, and set the book on the dining room table. I went up too my room and looked at my phone and saw that I had two new followers and a dm. I checked my message it was someone giving me their number they looked very familiar. I decided to text them 'Who is this?' a couple minutes I was cleaning my mess from picking out my outfit, when I heard my phone going off. I answered it not thinking about my throat "Hello?"

"Hey is this Dakota?'

"Yes who is this?"

"This is Jake Pitts"

I held back my fangirling and said "Oh hey"

"What is your address?"

"Why?"

"The band and I want to come and see you"

"Um I'll text you the address"

"Okay bye"

"Bye" I said right before hanging up I went to my bathroom and put on a little makeup. I text the number my address and got a text almost immediately back saying Okay we will be over in a little bit. I went back downstairs and made another cup of hot chocolate, grabbed my book off the dinning room table, and went to the living room and started read more. I heard something but I ignore it and continue reading. Again I heard the noise, I got up this time to what it was.

It was someone at the front door I looked out the peep hole and too see a familiar face. I opened the door and saw Black Veil Brides all standing on my door step I was shocked that they were at my house I invited them in giving each one of them a hug.

They followed me into the living room we all sat down. Jake and Andy sat on the love seat, and Jinxx, Ashley, and CC sat on the couch. I sat in the huge chair that I read in.

"How is your voice?" Andy spoke breaking the silence.

"It's getting better, they said by Wednesday it should be normal if I keep taking the medicine." I replied.

They all chimed in "that's great." I started laughing it was more creepy than funny. They all started laughing shortly after I did.

"Why did you guys want to come over?" I asked with suspicion in my in my voice.

"Well, um Jake do you want to explain to her?" Ashley said looking at Jake. Jake looked down at his hands and mummbled something. I couldn't hear what he said "What?"

"We were wondering after school ends do you....." he mummbled again and I couldn't makeup what her just said.

"Okay since he won't say it we were wondering after graduation you would like to to warped with us." CC said half excited and half annoyed with Jake for not saying it. I am guessing it was Jakes idea to ask me. "um I will have to think abo-" I was cut off by someone knocking on my door I went to look. I saw Violet's parents standing there waiting on me to answer the door I ran back to the guys "I am sorry but I promised to go to dinner with Violet's parents I will be back in and hour and half until I will be back, you guys can stay or leave and I will text you when I get back, but if you stay don't drink all the hot chocolate." I didn't wait for an answer I went and put on my black on black converse and walked out of the door.
