Chapter 14

~Jake's P.O.V~

I woke up Monday morning from music it was going out of Dakota's room it wasn't the usual music that I thought she listened to. It was softer and very peaceful. I didn't mind it I hated sleeping on this stupid bunk bed. I had to sleep on top bunk it was not comfy. I wanted to get up but I didn't want to disturb Jinxx sleeping so I laid there, until I heard Dakota's door open I wanted to get up but she might think I am weird. Why am I caring so much about her and how she feels about me?

I finally heard her go to her room and then I heard Andy get up I got up to making sure Jinxx was going to walk up to then I heard everyone else open there door. I didn't feel bad about being up I wasn't the only one. I stood at the door way to the room while I watch Andy. He knocked on her door I knew he wasn't happy about getting woken up. She answered the door with a big smile on her face, she knew what she did. I didn't hear what they were saying but he left and she shut the door I walked to the living room. To be honest I was still tired. The others followed behind we all took places on the couches that I put the back the bed to a couch. Andy wasn't pleased that I did that. We all sat there like zombies half asleep and half awake. I heard the music stop and heard Dakota's door open. She walked happily to the kitchen to fix herself something to drink.

She came into the living room and looked absolutely beautiful. I didn't to ever expect myself to think that but she was she was beautiful. I didn't tell her but I wanted to tell her how beautiful she looked. She had a short conversation before going into the kitchen and putting her cup up and head out the door. She told us that we could stay here and she would be back at three if she doesn't fight. What does she mean about that getting into a fight? Does she get into fights often?

I kept thinking about Dakota until I felt a nudge from Ashley.

"Man are you okay?" he asked puzzled.

"Yea I'm fine just tired." I looked at him.

"I'm hungry I wonder what food she has," CC said getting up and walking to the kitchen. I knew she didn't have much food in there. "There is nothing in here." I heard CC say from the kitchen.

I got up and walked towards the kitchen to see what he was saying was true. I looked through the cupboards. There was really nothing in there; we looked into the fridge and there was a few things. With the sight I just say and knowing this girl lives by herself and works just to feed herself was crazy.

I remember when she was in the hospital she said that her birthday was in two days 'Wait today is Dakota's birthday!' I thought to myself as I got an idea. I went to the living room and sat down and looked at the guys. They must of seen the excitement in my eyes cause before I said something Andy spoke up and asked "What is making you so excited?"

Then after the guys noticed that I was excited. "Today is Dakota's birthday!" I said trying to hide some of my excitement but failed.

"It is I completely forgot," Andy said also starting to getting excited the others looked at us like we were crazy.

"We need to do something for her today I know we already invited her to warped but we need to do something today." I said excited.

"How about we help out here." Ashley said starting to get excited.

"How though?" Jinxx said the first thing he had said all day I thought he was asleep in the couch.

"Buy some food she has little food here, and making sure we buy plenty of coffee and hot chocolate for her." I said seeing the guys nod in agreement. I went to my room and got dressed I finished getting dressed when Jinxx came in and started to get dressed. I went to the bathroom and Ashley was already in there working on his hair . I wonder why he always has to look perfect.

We all finished getting ready and headed out the door we locked the front door and walked out the back door.

On our drive we past a matress store and practically screamed with excitement. I continued to drive towards the nearest store we arrived to the store. Jinxx grabbed a basket for all what we were getting. I walked off to find a new coffee maker. I found one and grabbed it and went to look for the guys. I found them looking at diffrent coffees. I didn't know which was her favorite so we grabbed a bunch of small containers of different ones. We did the same with hot chocolate. We headed towards the register and I couldn't find CC. The other guys went and payed while I went to find CC. I first looked in all the asiles and then I noticed that the store had a room with games for kids and looked in there and I found CC playing a shooting game with a kid. I waited for the round was over to tell CC that we were leaving he gave the kid a dollar and we went to the guys who were now waiting on us.

"Let me guess he was in the game room." Andy said smiling. I nodded and CC blushed which I thought was really weird. we put all the groceries into the trunk and I looked at the time and it showed 1:45.

I decided to text Dakota to tell her we might not be home when she comes home. I didn't drive back Andy did and we pulled into a parking lot to the matress store, before we got out Andy turned to the back seat and looked at Ash and asked "Can I room with you? That couch bed is the most uncomfortable bed. Please?" Ash replied and said sure. We finished our bed shopping and asked if they delivered and gave them the address. We got into the care and headed back to Dakota's. Ashley called her before we got there it was after three and told her to stay in her room no matter what noise came from me and the guys.
