Hey guys. It's been a while since I finished this book. I've done a lot of writing since then, and this book has blown up beyond my wildest dreams. I want to say, before I continue, that I am absolutely more than grateful that you all have continued to show this book a lot of love and appreciation.
But that's not why I'm writing this last chapter. I've returned to this book mainly to request of you all one thing.
In the time since I finished this book, I lost interest and started writing a new series based loosely on concepts I had for the sequel I had been planning. That series has now become one of my best works, and I'm far more proud of that one than I am of this one. This book was clunky and messy and, as far as plot holes go it was full of them. There are a lot of things I would change about this story line but unfortunately I can't do that without rewriting it entirely.
I am humbly asking you, if you are willing and would like to read my better writing, to continue reading my writing in Mark of the Raven, the newest book on my profile. The cover is sloppy but the writing is genuinely better and I have put far more time into making sure it is worth the read.
Obviously it will be a slow process. I haven't come close to finishing MotR yet and half of my finished chapters are unpublished. But this is fro very good reason. I want it to be good. I want it to make sense and I want the character development to work in the reader's favor. Elvirund did a lot of things, and rushing friendships and character relations was one of them. In addition a lot of the major plot points didn't make sense or were uncalled for, and a lot of character actions just didn't need to happen.
Writing this book was largely a learning process for me even after years of writing. At the time, I thought this was fantastic and the best thing I'd ever written. In time perhaps even Mark of the Raven will degenerate to the status this book now holds. But for now I've moved on from Elvirund and I hope you all will continue with me.
I can never be too grateful for the attention this book has gotten. In all honesty it's just made me very glad I wrote it in the first place despite its faults. Thank you all who have voted, commented, added it to a reading list or added it to your personal library. I will be leaving this book on my profile as a memory to what my writing used to be, but this will be the last time I update it.
Elvirund is disconnecting.
Thank you for visiting. I hope you enjoyed your stay.
