Your POV

I walked into the living room, seeing where everyone was. Everyone was sitting in the living room, but I continued to stand at the doorway, holding my device that held my music.....not talking to each other.....it wasn't comfortable silence, it was the kind where everyone was kind of defeated....

We just lost a battle.....another planet taken over by Zarkon....

(Que music)

I started humming to the tune of the music that played from my own device.....

"We may not yet have reached our glory...but I will gladly join the fight...."

Everyone looked to my direction....

"And when our children tell their story...they'll the story of toniiight.....they'll tell the story of tonight....tonight~"

I approached Lance, and placed a hand on his shoulder

"Have you ever felt like nobody was there?"

I then looked over at Keith, catching his attention

"Have you ever felt forgotten in the middle of nowhere?~"

He clasps his mouth, he was on the verge of crying, I went over to him and rubbed his back....I then looked at them one by one....

"Have felt like you~ could disappear?"

By this point everyone was trying to hold it in, but Lance couldn't I signaled Pidge to comfort him...

"Like you could fall....and no one would hear?"

I saw Keith slightly nod, I pulled him into a hug and patted his back.....I pulled back to see his face clearer, I brushed my thumb against his cheek...

"Well, let that lonely feeling wash away..."

I then let go of Keith and went over to the others

All we see is light~

"Cause maybe there's a reason to believe you'll be okay."

For forever~

I went over to Lance, Pidge stopped what she was doing and I let him lean into me, as he muffles his sobs...

"Cause~ when don't feel strong enough to stand....you can reach....reach out your hand..."

By now I had already let go of Lance, letting him lay on the couch. I then made a reaching out motion.....I sent all of them smiles....

And ooohh~

"Raise a glass to freedom! Something they can never take away...no matter what they tell you~"

Someone will come running and take you home~

"Raise a glass to the wall of us!"

Then outta nowhere Shiro joined...

"Tomorrow there'll be more of us!"

Then Pidge joined....

"Telling the story of tonight!~"

Then Hunk, Allura and Coran joined....

"Out of the shadows~"

I look over at Lance and Keith, they barely wanted to move, I send them a warm smile...I guess that was the one thing that made them join singing....

The morning is breaking (they'll tell the story of tonight)

After the song finished.....there was silence...I sigh

I guess they need more time...as I turn to walk away I was suddenly wrapped into a hug by a pair of arms....those were Lance's....then Keith's joined, then Pidge's, Hunk's, Shiro's, Allura's and Coran's....

I sigh again and let it happen...

"Thanks for that (Y/N)...." I hear Lance muffle against my back

"I really just sung the song...you should really thank Lin-Manuel Miranda and Ben Platt for singing it..."

"Your intention was to cheer us up, right?" said Pidge

"Well yeah..."

"Then I'm pretty sure you succeeded" Keith chuckles at his response, I roll my eyes

"Look I'm sure anyone could've done this...."

"I don't think so (Y/N)...." Allura says

"Allura's right.....you were the only one in this castle that could've 'fixed' the atmosphere..." I hear Shiro say whilst resting his chin on my head

"I have to agree!" Hunk exclaims

"Yeah!" Coran cheers, slipping away from the embrace

Soon enough, everyone let go of me but Keith and Lance hung on a little longer then only let go...

I chuckle at them. I flash them a smile before heading to my room....

Well at least they're happy now....

Now they don't have to be sad anymore....just like me....
