Pocky (Keith x Reader)

This was actually based on a comic I read on Instagram, not exactly the same, but the concept IS the same

And I was like "UWUs been snatched!" so yeah

It was one of those special days where the Galra weren't doing anything annoying, like destroying or taking over planets.

Luckily, you and the team were able to go to the space mall to shop for clothes, food and anything else wanted or needed.

Anyways, as you and Keith stroll through the snack section in the 'grocery store' both of you were in.

You grazed your fingers while passing boxes upon boxes of 'biscuits', or at least something close to some.

Assuming you weren't paying any attention, you heard something drop, you look down to see you've dropped one of the biscuit boxes, but in closer inspection you gasped.

"Oh.my.", you slowly stood up once you had the item in hand

"(Y/N)?", he asked

You practically tackled him, out of sheer joy

"Oh my quiznack! They have pocky!", you squealed

You then jumped off Keith, as you realized what you just did, and helped him up

As you cleared your throat, he pauses

"Wait, did you say pocky?"

"Oh, uh, yeah! See!", you showed him a box of (F/F) (author: favourite flavour) flavoured pocky

"I'm so getting this!", you jumped giddily, you then skipped to the counter to pay for a few boxes of the pocky

Keith then looked at the counter where you took the handful of pockys, he then reached further down it and took out a strawberry flavoured pocky box, he smiled as he saw there were a few more of the same flavour.

He took about as well as a handful of them and walked to the counter to pay.

Time skip

As you and the rest of the team arrived back at the castle, everyone went their separate ways, well, except for you and Keith.

Both of you walked, well you dashed, to the dining room, Keith chuckles at your eagerness.

As soon as both of you sat down, you pulled out one box of pocky, opened it and started to munch on it.

Savouring the oh so familiar, artificial taste.

You heard another box being opened, you looked over to see Keith opening his own pocky box, and it was....strawberry flavoured? (Author: if you like the strawberry flavoured pocky like I do then think of another flavour, like cookies and cream, anyways enjoy!)

"Strawberry?", you asked

"Mhm", he responded, still munching on one stick

"Mm, but (F/F) is better!", you glowed with pride, hoisting up your pocky box like Simba in The Lion King

"How so?", he said, finishing munching on the stick

"B-Because it has (F/F) in it!", you cheered

"Hahah! Suck it Keith", you mumbled

Keith smiles but rolls his eyes to cover it up, a tint of pink appears on his cheeks as you approach him, he clears his throat
