Alive (Shiro x Fem!Reader)

(Author: I'm very sorry for the delay and for the terrible writing, I did my best and I hope you enjoy reading this! Also I haven't watched S7 so apologies for getting some of this wrong, and sorry for not writing much)

Your POV

Shiro had been gone for four years....I still held on to the fact he was alive somehow, but I already knew he wasn't going to make it back.

I've been working with the Garrison for awhile, after a few months there we received threats from unknown ships, I obviously didn't know what they were. But I didn't ask, because I knew this was a calling for war.

We also received help from these people called the 'Paladins of Voltron', when I saw them come home, I didn't expect them to be so happy.

They seemed so overwhelmingly overjoyed to meet their families, or at least that's what I saw for the two of them, two men just watched. I felt bad for them, maybe they didn't have anyone to return to or their families weren't there and another was a female alien. What I heard of her is that her whole planet was destroyed, and I felt worse for her as she really doesn't have anyone else.

Timeskip

About a few days has passed when the paladins returned home, I was heading my way to the command center when I overheard a ship was entering the Earth's atmosphere, hitting terminal velocity, I was shocked to hear that. Though I didn't exactly know what was happening, I did overhear that someone and Sendak were on that ship.

I prayed that, that someone could help defeat Sendak.

After a while I overheard that, that someone was safe on Earth thanks to someone named Keith. I was curious to know who the person was, I asked around to see whether anyone knew where they were. To my luck, they told me they were resting up at the first aid center (Author: I didn't know what else to think XD) 

As soon as I entered those doors I was met with an oh so familiar figure, I walked closer to examine they're features, and to my surprise I knew who he was.....

"Shiro?" I croaked, trying to choke down the sobs, he lets out a tired grunt and flicks his eyes towards me, focusing them. Once they did his eyes widened with shock and with joy.

"I thought you were dead you dimwit!" I scolded him playfully, letting the smile take over my features, he gives me a tired smile

"Good to see you too (Y/N)...." he chuckles lightly

"Shh, we can talk more later...." I said sitting on his bedside, stroking his now grey hair. He tiredly wraps an arm around my waist as he drifts off to sleep, I held his arm securely around my waist.

Soon enough I drifted off, with Shiro by my side.

Keith's POV

I went up to check on Shiro, but as I approached him I saw....(Y/N)?

I haven't seen her since, well, four years ago! I knew they dated for a while, as in about a few months after Adam decided to leave Shiro.

I knew they missed each other, so I quietly left, and I have to say that might be the cutest thing I've seen in a while. And I don't usually think this.
