CH9-Forgiven

The next morning I wake up and notice Jasper isn't in his spot, but instead a note was in his place.

I'm sorry I won't be there when you wake up Darlin', but I had to go hunt before school. Get dressed and I'm picking you up at 7:15. Oh and don't forget we're going on that field trip for Molina's class to the greenhouse, so be ready. We have to get there before first hour. I love you🖤~Jasper

I smile lightly at the last thing he wrote. He loves me. It's a little early in this "relationship" to be saying that, but it doesn't really matter considering we're mates and unless one rejects the other, we'll be together until one of us dies. Yes, I did my research don't judge. Clearing my thoughts away I remove the covers and get up to look at my phone, I check the time and see that it's 6:45.

I then look at the percentage and it is completely charged so I pull it off the charger and head to the bathroom with my clothes (Pic above) and get dressed. After I'm done getting ready I check the time and it's 7:10.

Bella has already left, so I decide to get a quick breakfast. I go downstairs to the cupboards and see that there's barely anything. I sigh and decide to just go on my phone for 5 minutes.

Exactly 5 minutes later I hear a car horn and look out the front window and see Jasper's Jeep in the driveway. I smile, grab my stuff and run out the door. I get outside and lock the door and make my way to Jasper as he gets out of the driver's seat and meets me halfway.

Once he's in front of me he pulls me into a tight hug. "Mornin' Darlin'," he whispers in a prominent southern accent. "Morning," I say with a bright grin on my face. We both pulled away and he closed his eyes and lean in for a kiss when I put up my hand to his lips, causing him to open his eyes and look at me confused.

"What are we?" I ask bluntly. He sighs and removes my hand from his mouth holding it as he gently kisses my knuckles. "Elizabeth Jade Swan, will you do me the honor of being my official girlfriend?" He asks politely. I think about it as I look at his facial features, his golden eyes searching my own green ones as he awaits an answer.

"Of course I'll be your girlfriend," I say grinning widely at the end. Jasper smiles brightly at me as he closes his eyes and I close mine as we both lean into each other and meet halfway. It's short but filled with love and passion coming from both ends.

We pull away and Jasper says, "Alright let's get going." As he grabs my hand and pulls me to the passenger door. He opens it and lets me get in, then once I'm in he closes the door and I put the seatbelt on. He vamp speeds away from the passenger door to the driver's door. "Damn Jas, you are fast." He chuckles as he pulls out of my driveway.

I smile as I lean my head against the metal bars that makes up his jeep and look out the open window as we drive fast down the deserted roads of the countryside where we live. I start going over the stuff I know and still want to know in my head.

I must've drifted off to sleep while I was thinking because the next thing I know is Jasper on my side of his Jeep with the door open gently shaking me. "Darlin' are you ok?" I nod my head sleepily. "Yeah. I guess I'm just still a little tired." He nods his head in understanding.

I climb out of his car and grab my bag from the back while he closes the door behind me, locks it, grabs his bag and grabs my hand as we head towards the building.

We walk into the school and immediately see everyone from Molina's classes in the main lobby waiting. I hear someone call my name and see Bella coming over to Jasper and I. Jasper leans down close to my ear. "I'll be waiting over there. I think you and Bella need to talk." He whispers as he points towards his siblings.

I nod lightly and smile up at him as he leans down and gently kisses my forehead and walks over to Alice, Adam, and Edward standing at the back of the crowd.

I turn back to Bella and see she's right in front of me. "Hey," Bella said sheepishly. "Hi," I reply curtly as my arms come across my chest. "Look I'm sorry about the way things have been between us, I honestly thought they were getting better."

I sigh. "That's only because you're my sister and I care about you, but that doesn't change the fact of me being pissed off at you." She visibly cringes at the word I use.

"Look Lizzy I really am sorry for acting the way I've been acting. Forgive me?" I sigh again. "Of course." She smiles and brings me into a really tight hug which I return before I couldn't breathe. "Hey, Bella. Can't. Breath."

She immediately lets me go and a deep intake of breath comes from me. I could see Jasper and Edward looking at us, Jasper in worry and Edward in amusement. I roll my eyes playfully and grab Bella's hand starting to walk over to the others.

She pulls me back. I stumble back into her as Jasper looks over at us concerned. I give him an 'I'm fine' look. I look back at Bella and see she's looking at Edward with a look of pure hatred along with something else I know all too well.

Molina comes to stand in front of everyone. "Ok students, the busses are here. There are 2 busses, chose wisely." I nod silently.

"Hey Bella, is it ok if I sit with Jasper on the way there and then I'll sit with you on the way back?" I turn to face her and her lips hold a knowing smirk. "Of course. Go be with your boyfriend." I gape at her. "Oh come on. You thought I wouldn't have noticed?" I shyly nod my head.

She rolls her eyes. "We'll talk about it later. Go be with him." I smile at her and pull her into a quick hug before I pull away from her and jog to Jasper.

I stop in front of him and ask, "Did you hear?" He looks down at me with a small, gentle smile on his face. He nods and brings me into a comforting hug. I hug him back instantly and melt into his embrace.

"Last chance to claim a seat on the bus!" Molina announces. I bring my head back and notice Jasper, his siblings and I are the last people not on the bus. Jasper pulls away and latches his hand onto mine and pulls me to the front doors of the school.
