Never Wanna Leave - Glenn Travis
Grayson:"Nerah, please answer," I said into the phone after being sent to voicemail again.
"Why are you still trying?" Ethan asked with a groan.
"It's called love,"" Bryant said before whacking Ethan with a couch pillow. "Shut up and be supportive."
"I'm trying to be but it's like 3 in the morning and he's trying to call her! She's probably sleeping!" Ethan groaned.
"You guys can go to bed if you guys want to," I said while pointing to the door. The rain was pouring hard outside and there was a little bit of thunder. I sighed and tried calling her again.
Ethan got up and ran to his room. Bryant stood up and touched my shoulder.
"She'll come around, dude. Don't stop trying," he said with a smile.
"Thanks, B." He walked off and I sighed.
"Hey, it's Nerah! And Zach!" There were a few laughs. "I can't come to the phone so leave a message!" There were a few more laughs then the phone beeped.
"Nerah, please answer so I can explain myself." I sighed. "Please, Nerah... Bye."
I sat down on the couch and ran my hands through my hair. I messed up.
There were a few knocks at the door. I groaned.
"Ethan!" I called. No answer. "Bryant!" No answer.
I groaned and got up. What type of person would knock on the door at 3 in the morning when there's a storm outside. I sighed.
I stopped just before I got to the door in fear that it'd be some crazy killer who asks for help and end up killing me. Like in the movies.
I rolled my eyes and shook off the thought. I got to the front door and was only able to make out a figure.
I flipped on the porch light and opened the door.
"Oh my gosh," I said softly. Nerah stood there.
She immediately grabbed my face and placed a long kiss to my lips. I moved back a bit and shut the door behind her. She pulled away and looked at me.
"I'm sorry," I said softly. She shook her head. "You're soaking wet! How'd you get here?!"
I walked her into the house.
"I rode my skateboard and took a few buses."
"Where's your skateboard?" I asked.
"I got off of it when I got to the front and the wind blew it away," she said with a laugh.
"I'm still sorry."
"It's fine, I just... I didn't know how to react because you're the first guy to kiss me after Zach and I broke up.
I smiled. "We need to find you other clothes." She sneezed. "Nerah..."
"I'm fine," she said softly while shivering.
"Come here." I found one of my big shirts and gave it to her. I turned around and shut my eyes so she could change.
"You can turn around now." The shirt was long enough to end just above her knees.
"Is that good enough?" I asked.
She nodded. I took her wet clothes from her and threw them in the basket in the corner. Her hair was wet so I gave her a towel to wrap her hair in.
She sneezed again and I sighed.
"I'm fine," she said softly. I sighed and lead her to the kitchen. She sat down on the couch while I made hot chocolate.
