Make It To Me - Sam Smith
Nerah:"Grayson put me down!" I squealed.
"Never!" Grayson yelled as he ran around the yard with my body hanging over his shoulder.
"Gray!" I laughed.
"Grayson, stop it!" His Mom scolded from the front door. I laughed as Grayson stopped and lied me down on the grass.
"What happened to, Never!" I mocked. He chuckled, hovering over me. He ran a hand through his hair and smiled.
"I only put you down because my Mom told me to." He brought his lips down to meet mine.
"Get a room!" Ethan yelled. I laughed and looked over to see Ethan pulling up in the truck.
"You're just jealous!'
"Of what?" Ethan scoffed.
"Of our love!" I laughed.
"Sorry buddy, I'm not jealous. I'm Ethan, not Zach."
"Ethan!" Grayson yelled as Ethan walked into the house with a smirk plastered on his face.
Grayson rolled off of me and lied next to me on the grass.
"Sorry about that," he said.
"It's fine." I smiled and held his hand.
"That's why I don't tell Ethan things." I laughed. "He always has to expose things."
"It's okay, Grayson... I think it's funny."
"So, it's not awkward that my brother teases your ex-boyfriend for still being jealous over us?"
"He's not jealous..."
"Whatever you say..." He chuckled and ran a hand through his luscious brown locks of hair.
"Besides, it doesn't matter if he's jealous, I'm with you." He smiled a goofy smile and I immediately placed a kiss on his lips.
"I love you, Nerah," he whispered softly.
"I love you too, Grayson."
...
I sat on Grayson's bed and watched him play his keyboard in the corner. I noticed how focused he was and the way he paid close attention to each key he pressed.
He'd sit up straight, perfect posture, hands neatly on the keyboard, pressing at the keys lightly, his eye glued to the keyboard. Very attractive.
"Grayson?" I asked. He stopped playing and looked over at me.
"Yeah?"
"Why don't you ever sing?" I asked.
"Well, because I'm not that good..."
"You can't be that bad."
"No, I'm that bad." He chuckled and walked over. He lied down on the bed placing his head on my lap.
"I'll never know if you're that bad if you don't sing for me." He looked up at me and shook his head.
"I'm a comedian and YouTuber, Nerah. Zach is a singer. I'm not Zach."
"I know you're not Zach," I said softly.
"I have a question for you."
"What is it?"
"Why do you love Zach so much? Like he hurt you and put you in pain, but you still love him."
"I love his as a friend."
