Nerah: *It's August. Nerah's leaving for college*

My eyes fluttered open as I looked around the room. Today's the day. I looked around the partially empty room. Most of my stuff, movers came a few days ago and moved to New Jersey. Ethan flew down to New Jersey early so he could be the one to claim my stuff and move it into my dorm. According to Ethan, my roommate is super hot but she was kinda bitchy.

I quickly got out of bed and got ready for the day. I shoved my dirty laundry and pajamas into a plastic bag that I would take with me in my suitcase so I could wash my clothes there. Actually leaving was the art that I was most nervous for. Meeting new people and the classes didn't scare me at all. Just the thought of leaving my Dad. I also have the chance to say goodbye to my mom and also the twins, who Grayson and I were able to take a few times over the summer to hang out with.

I also hung out a lot with Jack over the summer who is probably the person I'm going to really struggle saying goodbye too. 

Zach and Loren celebrated their 5 month anniversary a few days ago. Me and Zach's friendship has grown tremendously. 

Christina's YouTube channel is growing every day and I've never been more proud of her. 

I talked to Gabe who's still attending UCLA and has a girlfriend now. I don't think she's girlfriend material, but whatever makes him happy, I guess. 

The Why Don't We boys are all planning to release their first single soon which I'm super hyped for. Daniel played a small snippet for me and almost got in trouble but "Yolo," said by the blue-eyed freak himself. 

Daniel also finally turned in that Blue 1966 Mustang GT350 (This is the car from the TFB music video btw. I'm pretty sure) that he's had for years; it was probably one of the saddest things to watch Daniel say goodbye to his "baby".

I talked to Parker. (If you don't remember Parker, he was the kid that had a crush on Nerah and Kylie *the mean girl if you don't remember her* promised she'd be able to get him with Nerah if he left Nerah the mean notes and if he tried to make it look like Nerah was cheating) Turns out he got accepted to LSU on a football scholarship, meaning we'll both be on the same side of the country, but I'll be up North and he'll be on the Southern part of the East side.

I talked to Dakota a few days ago and he told me that I nothing to be scared of in college. He also told me to forget about Jordan and what happened in the past. He also told me that Jordan won't be out of jail for another 9 years and by the time he gets out, I'll be living a better life.

I walked downstairs to see my Dad setting out pancakes on the table along with eggs and toast. His eyes were puffy and he was still sniffling. I hid at the corner of the staircase and tried to hold myself instead of bursting into tears at the thought of my Dad crying.

"Nerah, I know you're there," he said.

"Goodmorning, Dad..." I said with a laugh.

"Come, sit down, let's have breakfast!" He smiled and pointed at my seat at our small circular table. He traded the bigger table after Faye and Edith left since it was just the two of us and sometimes Grayson. Grayson and my Dad had a very strong bond and my Dad honestly loved him, more than he ever loved Zach. Even after Zach saved my life.

I sat down at the table and stared at my food. We both sat there in awkward silence both pushing the food around on our plates. I looked up at my Dad who sniffled a bit and continued to push his food around.
