I kept trying to attack the small of his back but to no avail. He kept dodging and deflecting my attacks.
I could feel my body weakening by the minute form the overuse of my powers.

I have to sta-ay strong. Mom is depending on me.
I must make him pay.

Oh he'll pay alright.
With all the strength I had left in my body, I let out the loudest scream i could muster and swam towards him as fast as my weakening tail would allow me.

I formed a ice dagger just before I came close to him and before he could notice my presence i rammed it in his neck.
Before he could react,i spun to the small of his back formed a water spear as quickly as i could and sent it though his back. I saw the spear protrude from his front. His body slumped slightly forward.

I floated there with my hands still holding the spear and dagger watching the life drain from his eyes. It was only afterwards i realized that i-id taken life from someone. I

With the crimson swirls of my actions slowly starting to emerge from his neck,i broke down and started crying. Ignoring the worsening condition of my scales and wounds; I thought about all of the families that were torn apart by him,all.the children without parents, the homes that were destroyed in his wake.

WHY!
WHY ME!

I screamed into the abyss my words reverberating off the rocks and corals around me.

Sharks would soon be here to investigate the smell of fresh blood.
But yet it was still not over.

I still had my family and kingdom to safeguard.
