Chapter 24✔

Lucas's POV

Filthy mermaids. Always the set that that thinks their life is oh so perfect and time he'll with everyone else . Well all that's changing, especially that son of mine....

Ah yes , that little kingdom is finally feeling my true wrath and that son of mine will feel it the most. I've already taken care of the girls mother . There is little to chance of her surviving especially that wretched baby of hers.

Progress is going well with destroying their puny kingdom. After all that's where Adrian's mother came from.
I should have never gave in to that woman's bloody seduction,

*flashback*

I was doing my final lifeguard duties for the day and most people were leaving the beach so I decided to take a quick walk along the shoreline.

I was barely into a few steps into my walk when I heard a melodious voice it was singing in a language I couldn't recognize but it was bueatiful nevertheless.

It sounded like it was coming down from further down the beach so I followed it and came to see a bueatiful mermaid singing her heart out to the sea.

"That was lovely " I said.
She went went into the water without a word and she looked at me
without a word.
She went further out in the water as if was inviting me in.

Being the fool I was, I went into the water with her.
" what's your name ? I asked.
She just pressed a wet finger to my lips and I heard her name in my head.

Adriana.

So Sexy. So deceiving.
She went deeper and deeper until the water came up to my chest.

Then suddenly ,without any warning she dragged me under the water . Being a life guard, I instinctively held my breath.

I didn't know what happened next , but I found myself on the beach the morning as dry as was before.

Eight whole months passed and I saw no sign of her .
I looked the same place over and over hoping deep in my heart that I would see her again.

Nothing.

Until a night in late November, I saw her but she wasn't alone. She held something in her hands. It was dark so I couldn't see what it was.

Then it moved and made a crying sound.
I nearly wet my shorts in Shock.
Then she said her first and last sentence to me:

" he's yours take care of him until he's sixteen then send him to water."
She then proceeded to hand the baby to me and then she swam away.

Never saw her again.

*End of Flashback*

And for what she did to me , her race will pay .
Severely at that too.
