midnights POV.
The kraken was ripping our roof to pieces and I was low on gas .so much for chilling at marina's point .
" girl, looks like we have to fight."
I tell nats.
" but what about. violet and your mom? "
she says and I look at their both unconscious figures at the back of the car.
I didn't get to answer her question because a kracken tentacle just slammed through my windshield."just get them to safety, and then we'll. deal with this thing."
she just nods at my response and begins to take my mom out the car.I grab my backpack and dodge another tentacle as it nearly slammed into me.
"Hey ! are you hungry? "
I shouted at it.
It only growled in response.I jog a few meters from the car to allow nats to get mom and violet to safety.
I scan the area for water; a pond, a puddle, anything .
It was advancing onto me and I still had no way to attack it.Then something clicked in my brain.
I'll just take water from the air.
I closed my eyes and focused on the air around me.I summoned a good amount of water,
and then froze it into small ice daggers.Blinking my eyes open ,
I sent the daggers one after the other, right into the weak spot of the kracken, its stomach.I glimpse Natasha climbing a tree.
"a little help here would be nice!"
I shout. The Kracken looked hurt but it was still advancing further to me.
"nats!"
"chill girl I'm just waiting for the right moment. " she replies. That child is up to some crazy plan.
I hear a zing across my ears ,and only turn around just in time to
to Natasha release a poison arrow. It flew right through its chest and it landed with a thud .
She jumped down from the tree, turned and looked at me and said,
"we have to get back to the kingdom.""For what ?dad said to stay here"
"We've gotta warn them" Nats said."A war is approaching."
