******KAYLA'S POV********
I hugged Annie bye and made my way outside. I couldn't wait to attend her wedding. I was so excited for the both of them.
I slowly backed out of her driveway. I turned the volume up and my favorite song blasted through the speakers, causing my ears to ring. Just the way I liked it. The song was called, 'Party Rock Anthem.' It was my favorite. I knew every single word.
I sung every song that came on, as I drove back to my place. I was tone deaf, but I honestly didn't care the last little bit.
I pulled into my driveway, the clock just now showing 6:00 P.M. Dang! That was when me and Jakes work shift started. He was probably going to be pissed.
*********JAKE'S POV**********
I glanced at the clock on the wall. It was already time for me and Kayla to be at the diner. She was supposed to be here over a half hour ago. I was worried sick.
I pulled my IPhone out of my pocket and started to type her a message, but before I sent it, I heard the sound of a truck door shut. I hopped up and opened the door, letting Kayla in.
"Jake, I'm so sorry. I was too busy talking to Annie that I lost track of time!" She apologized. She kept rambling on more excuses, but I wasn't paying attention. She knew I would be worried sick about her.
I pulled her into a hug and whispered into her ear, "I was worried sick about you. I thought maybe something bad had happened. I'm just glad you're safe." I let go of her slim body and slipped my hands into my jean pockets. I turned away from her quickly, I was embarrassed of my actions.
I reached for the door knob and said, "well lets go. We're already late and we don't have anymore time to waste. I hopped in her truck and drove as fast as I could on the wet road. It had been pouring all damn day. The usual.
We made our way into the diner, only to receive a couple rude glares. Everyone else didn't seem to care that we were thirty minutes late.
I scanned the room. There was only one old couple in the whole diner. I could tell this was going to be a long, boring night.
******UNKOWNS POV******
I remained under the porch until finally, the sun started to set. The sky was a bright orange color with a few pinkish, fluffy clouds remaining from the storm earlier today. I crawled from beneath the cold, damp porch and made my way to the window. It had finally began to get dark.
I stared at the red-headed tramp lounging on the couch. She was blabbing on her cellphone, probably to her fiancé. I ducked as she lifted herself up from the sofa, and made her way into her bedroom.
I looked at the black watch, that was wrapped around my hairy wrist. It read 11:05. The woman was probably headed for bed. To be on the safe side, I decided to wait a little while longer before breaking into her home.
I glanced down at my watch again. Two hours have passed since the woman dissapeared into her bedroom, it was now 1:00A.M. I started to make my way onto the back porch. I decided to try the back-door first. To my advantage, the dumb-ass forgot to lock her door.
I smiled as I crept through the kitchen. Her hard wood floor creaked every step I made. I hoped she was a heavy sleeper.
I peered through the open doorway, and landed my eyes on the ugly woman sleeping. My Kayla was way more prettier than that woman ever dreamed of being.
I thought about many ways I could actually kill the woman. There was so many options. I finally decided to just suffocate her with a pillow. I didn't want to make a bloody mess, but just incase something went wrong I had my knife in my pant pocket.
I grabbed the pillow and slowly crept to the side she was sleeping on. I watched as she continued to breathe smoothly, in and out. So peaceful. As I lifted the pillow up, a strange feeling tickled my nose.
"AHHHCHOOOO!!!" I sneezed. Oh shit. I watched as her dull, grey eyes flashed open. Her face contorted with fear. She let out a deadly scream, as she rolled to the side of the bed farthest from me. I started to panic as I grabbed the knife from my pocket.
She made a flee for the door, but I was too fast for her. I grabbed her by her red locks, and pulled her back to face me. She screamed in pain.
"Please, oh please don't kill me. I'll do anything. I promise I won't tell anyone." She pleaded as tears fled from her eyes. I just chuckled. The woman then clasped her hands together and began to pray. I felt my nails dig into my hands, as I clenched my fists in fury. I lifted her up by her hair and flung her on the bed. She continued to pray.
"You dumb bitch, do you seriously think God is going to help you now!?" I growled. I was sick of hearing her voice. I raised my knife up in the air, and plunged it through her throat. I watched as blood poured from the open wound. I smiled in satisfaction, as the irony scent of blood filled the room.
"Please don't ki--" She attempted to say, as she gagged on her own blood. I laughed as I repeatedly stabbed her in the chest. Her eyes rolled back into her head. She was dead. I then removed her pajama pants, and carved the letter "T" on her inner thigh. The once white sheets, were now replaced and stained with a bright red.
Before leaving the room, I turned and looked at the cold, lifeless, body lying on the bed. A grin spread across my lips. If this didn't get Kayla's attention, I don't know what would.
