She shook her head. "No, it's my fault, I just, I dunno."
"No, what?" I prodded, letting her know she was comfortable. She was my only friend, after all.
She sighed. "I wish something could've happened between us." She gave me a sultry look that made my heart pound with fear. "Things still can, you know..."
She placed a hand on my thigh and leaned forward.
"Madison, no!" I almost shouted. "Hailey...."
She smirked. "She's gone. We have the whole place to ourselves."
"Madison... I really don't want to-"
She pressed her lips against mine, and as I tried to pull away, I heard the door click open.
"What the hell?"
Hailey was home early.
