Naruto's Older Sister

Chapter 24 - Movie(Part 2)

Once they had finished digging Naruto and Shikamaru pulled out an unconscious Sasuke from the snow, and placed him on top of the snow, to see if he was alive.

Sai and Shikamaru got up.

"Is he...?" Sai asked.

Naruto looked at Mito hopefully as she placed two of her fingered on Sasuke's throat. As she pulled away, she sighs in relief, "No, he's okay. But we better get him back to the Leaf Village for medical treatment."

They hopped back on the birds with Sasuke with Naruto and Mito. Mito was healing him while Naruto drove.

Sasuke was now resting in the hospital at night with Mito healing him. Everyone looked hopefully at Mito.

Shikamaru sighed. It has been hours since Mito began healing him but still no effect, "Maybe we should stop here and rest for a bit and carry one tomorrow." Shikamaru suggests along with Sai and Ino. They all left the room.

The only people now left on the room were Mito who was still healing Sasuke, Naruto and Hinata.

Hinata looked at Mito, "Mito, I... You know that if I knew medical ninjutsu I wouldn't hesitate to help you. But I still can't believe that Toneri had a hand on this. I'm sorry. You know I'm grateful to you after what you'd done for me." That was the last thing she said before leaving the room leaving only Naruto and Mito alone.

Mito... Naruto thought, "is there anything I could do to help?"

Mito sighed as she removed her hand from Sasuke's chest, "I need a wet towel. That's all." She said nothing to turn to Naruto's direction as she placed her hand back on Sasuke's chest and began healing him.

"You got it." Naruto leaves taking a last worried look at Sasuke.

Mito heard a strange whisper around the room. A warning. She didn't know who or what it was all she knew is that it was calling out her name. She ignored it and looked at Sasuke. She couldn't see much of his face though because his hair was covering his eyes. At least Mito still thought he had them. She then heard the door slam. She figured it was Naruto, "Naruto, did you get the towel I asked for?" She then felt a hand on her head. The hand pushed her head down then return to normal. She then knew it was Kakashi, "Kakashi-sensei?"

"Any sign of Sasuke?" He asked.

Mito didn't respond just looked down in sorrow. Kakashi then noticed that she was healing him. Sasuke, "What happened? Turned out you were right all along?"

"And this never would have happened if you'd just listened to me." Mito said angrily.

Kakashi rubbed the back of his head sheepishly and laughed nervously, "You're right there. So what happened to him anyway?"

"I don't know." Mito explains, "But I'm going to find out!"

"I'm sure you will. I'll leave it in your hands. I'm counting on it." Kakashi then says and then leaves the room.

The voice that called out her name then returned but disappeared in a few seconds.

Mito was very confused but Naruto then came into the room. Naruto then gave her the towel, "Here you go."

"Thank you, Naruto."

Naruto smiles and nodded but then frowned again, "Big Sister... is Sasuke... going to be alright...?"

"I wish I knew Naruto... but I just don't know..."

Naruto then looks at Sasuke and clenched his fists and grits his teeth, "I swear... If I ever find out who did things to Sasuke, I'm gonna—"
