They were prepared to lose a man for each enemy they thought with and after Shikamaru, Neji and Choji were left behind to distract the enemies. Naruto moved on to stop sasuke while mito was back in the leaf and bunch of memories from the past came back to haunt her...
1) age 6 "Come on itachi Sasuke lets play" said mito "Okay I'll count and you guys go hide" itachi said smiling "Come here" Sasuke pulled mito's arm "Oooo cool hiding spot" mito whispered The both of them were hiding behind a boulder Itachi immediately found them "Man he always catches us" Mito said frowning . Itachi laughed and he grabbed Sasuke and mito's hand and the three of them started walking through the park mito was still frowning itachi looked at her smiling and said "You know mito I've always thought of you like a little sister" Sasuke smiled mito's eyes widened mito and Sasuke both hugged itachi "Even though we aren't from the same clan I consider you my little sibling with Sasuke" itachi smiled "Thank you,itachi" Mito said while hugging him.
2) age 5 mito and sasuke were playing wedding and itachi was acting as the beaver. "You may now kiss" said itachi. Mito kissed sasuke a small kiss on the cheek. Sasuke's face turned red and he smiled as he rubbed his cheek then let out a small laugh.
3)age 5 mito was just coming to visit sasuke from kakashi's house and Sasuke was sitting alone acting weird. "are you ok" sasuke blushed and said "yeah, I'm fine. It's just that itachi's acting really strange". "And what's strange about that" Asked mito. "No no he's acting strange in a strange way"said sasuke. Mito looked at him in confusion and asked "huh?". After searching itachi's room and looking at some random things with a spying glass mito and sasuke came to the conclusion that itachi was getting married. Itachi later came in with Izumi (his soon to be wife) and asked "what are you guys doing?". Both mito and sasuke rushed in for a hug and said "congratulations". And naruto and Sakura were there "So your finally awake" said sakura. " how long have I been out?" Asked naruto. "Umm, 3 days at least." Mito was sitting still with no movements and just a few moments later his hands rolled up in a fist and she said "So, what happened with sasuke-kun?".Naruto's eyes widened and he shook her head no while saying "I'm sorry". Mito said "I see". "Mito" said naruto.she looked at him and he said "next time I will get sasuke back". Mito looked at him and smiled saying deal. "I'm afraid that's not going to happen" said pervy sage (you know very well who I'm talking about😉) "Huh!? What are you talking about pervy sage?" Asked naruto. "Come with me naruto" said Jiraiya. Naruto and Jiraiya walked out of the room into the guarded and Jiraiya advised naruto to not be a fool and go after sasuke because he knew that sasuke would not change. Naruto clutched his fists then said "fine". "Huh" said pervy sage. "If being wise means what you say it does..." Naruto then looked ant him smiling and with a thumbs up and said "I'll remain a fool my entire life". Jiraiya looked at him and said this idea is so foolish it just might work then he smiled and left.
Time skip to 2 years later... "Check every door" said mito it felt like they were opening doors like there lives depended on it. Sasuke were the hell are you thought Naruto. "Not here" said sakura. "Not here either" said Mito. Were are you thought Mito. As sweat and tears dripped from Mito's face as she remembered sasuke's face she wiped her face multiple times and she ran and ran while her eyes were shut crying "after all this time" said mito to herself as sweat dropped from her face while she was running. We came this far said sakura to herself. Even before team 7 I loved you from the bottom of my heart since we were 5 so I'm not about to give up thought Mito. "No, not now not ever" she said in a high voice. suddenly they heard a BOOM outside and they all ran to whole in the wall but Mito rushed ahead of them and grabbed sai and said "alright tell us what your really up to. How many times are you gonna make us search for you." "Mito" said sasuke interrupting Mito's lecture. Mito looked up in hesitation and that's when she saw him and said in hesitantly "no way" "S-Sasuke". Every one emerged outside and naruto had trouble looking at sasuke because of the sunlight. After his eyes finally adjusted sasuke rushed to him and said "if I'm not mistaken your dream was to become hokage ain't that right naruto. All that time you spent chasing after me could have been better spent in training". Naruto hesitated for a moment and said "how can I ever be hokage I couldn't even save a friend". " last time I only spared your life on a whim but now my mind is telling me to finish what I started" Sasuke stated while taking out his snake sward. Just as Sasuke was about to kill naruto sai rushed in and stopped him. But that backfired and Sasuke used lightning style to repel both sai and naruto. Later in that fight the 9 tails spoke to Naruto asking who he wanted to kill and Sasuke appeared and said "I never would have guessed you had this inside you". " and I assume Mito has the ten tails isn't that right?" Asked Sasuke. "How did you—" Asked naruto shockingly. "I see everything" said sasuke when Naruto and Sasuke finally returned to there own world. Sasuke was going to use a lightning style jutsu and orochimaru appeared saying "I wouldn't even bother with that jutsu". "Orochimaru!" Said naruto while pulling out a kunai. "Let's go Sasuke" said orochimaru and then they disappeared as the sand washed them away. Naruto put down his kunai and team 7 returned to the leaf.
