Chapter 28 - Movie(The Last)

The moon was already so close to earth. The group of shinobi had to think fast.

Kishirama attacks his little brother furiously, "You... you traitor!"

"Big brother. Wake up." Toneri said as he disappeared then reappeared somewhere else. Lord Hamura never wished for the destruction of earth! It was a mistake. Lord Hamura's celestial decree is a misunderstanding."

Kishirama yells accusingly at his brother and "You're nothing but a foolish lying traitor!"

"Everyone! Leave! I'll deal with my brother! You have to find a way to stop the moon from approaching the earth!" Toneri said quickly.

Everyone nodded and they all left.

Through the passageway to earth. Everyone had almost reached earth already.

"Sasuke wait!" Mito said as she grabbed his arm, "Thank you. For saving me... again" She said softly.

"I was just doing what I had to do. I owed you for saving my life."

Mito suddenly froze.

"I'm also grateful to you for something else." But he didn't mention what it was.

Mito blushed as she was still in her torn wedding dress and the rest of her accessories.

"NONSENSE!!" Kishirama yelled, "Hamura despised the earth! The world the sage of the six paths was a failure! It must be destroyed!" Kishirama uses his remaining strength to push the moon closer to the earth.

"You fool! Do you have any idea what you've done?!" Toneri yelled.

"Yes! Foolish little brother! I do know what I just did! Lord Hamura would be happy!"

"You've gone mad, big brother!"

"No! You're the one who has gone bad, little brother! You betrayed lord Hamura and our entire clan! You're an embarrassment!"

Sasuke and Mito who still didn't use the passageway heard a strange loud boom.

"The earth!" Mito gasped before remembering something.

"Sasuke! Kishirama needed the power of two Reincarnates in order to make the moon collapse onto earth, right? So if we combine our powers together we could reverse it!" She explains to Sasuke.

Sasuke nods.

Mito blushed and remembered that in order to combine their powers she needed to hold Sasuke's hand. She looked at it hesitantly ans she slowly curled her pinky onto his and then held the rest of his hand.

Sasuke smiled slightly.

She blushed at his smile. Purple light flowed through Mito to her hand and so did Sasuke's. When their powers met at each of their hands they curled around each other and got combined and that's when Mito and Sasuke made one strong hand sign.

Somehow, neither Mito nor Sasuke knew how but the moon just... froze. Then suddenly all the detached pieces of it returned to their positions and the moon went back to where it usually was.

"No! No!!! Me, Kishirama Ōtsutsuki...Defeated?!" Kishirama was defeated when the moon pieces collided back together. Kishirama got in between two pieces and got squished.

"Well... that's that... I hope your happy, brother..." Toneri, however, was safe and went back to his castle since Kishirama's castle got crushed as well.
