Chapter 17

It was almost Christmas. Since we spend the last 3 years in national city. We were celebrating at our hometown in Midvale. Alex had invited J'onn, Sam and ruby to come. J'onn has been going to a hard time around the holidays, since his father passed away last year. Also i am really excited to see Sam and Ruby again. I was going to invite Lena to come over. This would be our first Christmas together as a couple. Which I'm really excited about. I haven't exactly found the best gift yet. What can you still give to a billionaire. I was super excited to show Lena my hometown and for her to meet Eliza.

I was currently waiting for Lena in her office. Jess had let me in and told me to wait for here. Apparently Lena was down in the lab. It had been over an hour since i have been here. I didn't mind though. I was going to help Lena with the Christmas decorations this year. She had told me she never put any up. Which is totally insane. So I convinced her to let me put some decorations up this year. I had already bought some new things for to put in the Christmas tree. I heard sirens outside. I walked to Lena's balcony. I saw 3 police cars. I was considering if i should go help them when i felt two arms around me. Lena kissed my cheekbones. "Hey, baby." She said. "Hiii." I said. I intertwined our fingers. "I love this view." I said. "Me too." She said. I turned around to kiss her. I cupped her face gently. Her hands were on my hips. Her tongue was seeking entrance. I parted my lips to deepen the kiss. I moved my hands to the back of her neck. She slowly moved one hand down. I felt like my entire body was on fire. I was running out of breath. I pulled away for a second. We put our foreheads together. I noticed that Lena was breathing heavily too, not to mention her rapid heartbeat. I loved listening to her heartbeat. I put one of my hands back on her face. I gently stroked her face. Lena leaned in for another kiss. We kissed more slowly this time. "Miss Luthor, one of—" Jess said. Lena quickly pulled away. Jess was blushing, not more then i was. "Sorry, to interrupt." She said shy. "It's okay, what did you came to tell me." Lena said. "Mr. Craig would like to see you tomorrow." She said. "Okay, can you plan a meeting." Lena said. Jess nodded and left. Lena turned back to me. "Do you want to pick out a Christmas tree with me?" Lena said. "Yes!!! I thought you said you already did?" I said. She grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers again. "Yes, i was going to but something came up." Lena said. We walked out of L-corp together holding hands.

Lena and i went to a Christmas tree farm 20 minutes out of the city. "Okay what about this one." I said. "That one is way to big." Lena said.  "But big trees are more fun." I said. "It doesn't even fit in my living room, love." Lena said. I looked down. "We'll get a big one okay, just one that can actually fit. We wouldn't want to cut of the top would we?" Lena said. I let out a chuckle. "Finee." I said. "What about this one." Lena said. "Perfect." I said.

Lena and i had put the Christmas tree in the trunk and went home. We were now decorating the tree. We had argued an entire hour on which color we should pick. Lena wanted it to be completely red while i wanted different colors. While i was at the door paying for our ordered pizza Lena was putting as much red in the tree as possible. We ended up making it a race. I put as much other colors in as possible, but damn that woman was fast. When we finally finished the tree, it looked like a mess. Our mess. Lena and i just laughed it off. "Poor tree." Lena said. She gave me a quick kiss. "Come on let's eat the pizza. I hope it isn't cold." Lena said. Lena got plates. I quickly heated up the pizza while she wasn't looking. Lena put a slice on both our plates. We sat down on the couch. Lena took a bite of her pizza. "Oh my god, it's still smoking hot! How?" Lena said. I shrugged trying my best to look innocent. "Oh, i almost forgot. Eliza invited us over to spend Christmas in Midvale. Alex, J'onn, Sam and Ruby are coming too." I said. "Of course i'll come." She said. I smiled like an idiot. "Why are you looking at me like that." She said. "Because you are gorgeous and because this is our first Christmas together, as a couple." I said. "You're so cute." She said. She leaned in for another kiss. "I love you." She said. "I love you too." I said. I got myself another slice.
