This story follows a young girl named Kady Lincoln. Her family is stinking rich and powerful however, Kady hates this. She never likes to be noticed. She is quiet and innocent. She follows the rules. Hell, she made the rules.
She remains hidden underneath a hood for the whole of her high school years. She is now a Junior and events that unravel make her grow tired of the hood.
Will she get rid of her safety blanket or will she stay hidden?
What happens when the guy who she thought hated her starts showing her attention?
What happens when she has to reveal what is under the hood?
Do good things finally start happening to her or does it get worse?
