"Oh so you're with her now?!"

You shouted as you walked out of the building with Keith, pointing to the door that you and him just walked out of.

"What?! I never said I was on her side!" Keith put his hands up, stepping backward as you stepped forward, your heels clicking at the concrete floor

"Oh yeah?! Then what the hell was that just now?!" You started stepping forward again much faster than before, making him go backwards again

"It was for the best!" You stopped dead in your tracks

You scoffed, but then you started chuckling, which then turned into a fake laugh,

"awh, Keith you are so funny. Funny from the start." You wiped fake tears from your eyes as you said the last sentence with venom laced in your voice.

You then looked at you nails, moving around and about, "Can you please explain Keith, why giving the tesseract, an important thing in our organization! Was "for the best" as you say it." You made air quotes as you smiled a scary one at him. Your eyes were glaring straight into his skull.

"Look I just can't explain it okay?!"

You started fake laughing once again but stopped mid-laugh, "can't explain? What do you mean, can't explain?"

Keith sighed out of frustration. "Look, that tesseract wasn't so importa-"

You pinched the bridge of your nose as you put a finger up, "Don't finish that sentence." His mouth was open, but he closed it when he actually saw how angry you were.

This wasn't your normal angry. This was a murderous kind of angry.

When you were mad at him, you would just make you voice a bit higher, until tears start coming out. And the two of you made up. But now, there were no tears. Only shouts.

He hasn't seen this side of you. You were always the down-to-earth, the smile that could brighten up a room, kind of person.

But this you right now,
was different.

You put both of your hands down and into your pockets, "You're wondering why I'm like this right now, huh?" His eyes widened as if you just read his mind.

"This job is so important to me, Keith. This job requires saving people and keeping things secret!" You pointed again to the building, while Keith stayed quiet, "Keith, I love you, I really do. But if you're going to give away things so important, and to her of all people, then I'm sorry." Keith's face turned so pale.

"Keith, we're secret agents. Not some high school kids who think they can rebel and get away with it." He lowered his head,

You felt something wet on your forehead, "You better go back home." You straightened out your dress jacket and you fixed your tie,

"And just leave you here?"

You looked up at him with a face that showed no emotion at all, "Yes. I'll be going back inside, I have some matters to tend to." His eyes widened as you walked back to the door,

"Just go home, okay Keith? Make some dinner for yourself, cause I'm definitely not coming home tonight." You slammed the door, making Keith flinch.

Rain started to pour and pour and pour as Keith walked back home alone, thinking what he had done.
