Pillow Talk

It was late at night.

Everyone was asleep, while two were wide awake in the Castle of Lions. Keith was in the control room, blankets and pillows around him. He was just staring at the stars, finding some constellations while doing so.

(y/n) was laying down on her bed, completely awake. She couldn't sleep. This wasn't the first time that happened. She was tossing around in her bed, crinkling the sheets. She gave out a deep sigh, as she got her blanket and pillow, as she decided to make her way to the control room.

That was the only way that made her sleep, going to the control room to watch the stars pass by. Well, that and Keith being beside her.

The doors of the control room slid open, revealing the (e/c) eyed female's lovely boyfriend. "oh, (y/n)? What are you doing here?"

The girl went to his side and pecked his cheek as she sat down beside him, hugging her pillow, "I couldn't sleep. I went to your room, but I didn't find you there. There was only one place to look, guess I was right." She gave him a bright smile.

"You couldn't sleep? C'mere." Keith opened his arms, as the girl wuickly hugged him back, as she buried her head in his chest. "The stars are looking so beautiful tonight." Keith said, making his girlfriend hum in agreement.

Sooner or later, the couple was laying down on the floor, pillows on their heads, laughing together as they recalled a funny memory while at the garrison. "Man, I can't believe he did that." Keith laughed as he wiped tears from his eyes.

(y/n) looked at Keith with a wide smile on her face. Ever since the both of them started secretly dating, Keith became more happy. Ever since the Garrison, they started dating, but again, secretly. Keith or (y/n) would secretly sneak in to each other's dorm rooms to talk. In the morning, the two of them would just ignore each other as if they didn't know the other.

It was definitely a hard time for them.

It was even harder when they were stuck in space, saving millions of lives with this giant cat that formed into a giant human.

(y/n) sighed as she looked up the ceiling. "Hey Keith?" Keith looked to his side, were (y/n) was. "Yeah?"

"what do you think we'll do after everything finishes?" Keith looked you in the eyes, "After this crazy adventure ends?" She hummed and nodded her head, looking at him this time.

"well, I guess we'll all return home safely. And maybe Allura and Coran can share a home with some of us."

"and maybe, everything will be back to normal." Keith gave a small smile to you.

"but what will happen to us?" Keith slightly panicked on the inside, thinking that you were about to break up with him. "uh, maybe after we go back to the Garrison, when we graduate, maybe we can move in together?" (y/n)'s face reddened at the thought of the two of them moving in.

"being together forever would be amazing too." (y/n)'s eyes widened as she propped up her elbow, twisting the top half of her body to look at Keith, "What?"

"Marriage is a huge step to someone's life. It's a huge risk. But I'm willing to take that risk for you." Keith smiled, as some tears were spilling out of your eyes. "I don't have a ring yet, but," Keith took your hands as he used his other hand to hold you chin up to look at him, "when we get home, I promise you I'll get you the most beautiful ring ever."

Right now, (y/n) was bawling her eyes out. She was screaming of happiness on the inside. "so, maybe this is a future engagement thing." Keith chuckled as did the female. It was silent for a moment, but you cut it off with a loud, "YES!"

You jumped on Keith, startling him.
The two of you laughed together, enjoying the other's company. As the laughter died off, you asked him another question,

"should we go and tell the others?"

It was the next day and everyone just finished eating. "man! I am so full!" Hunk exclaimed, while rubbing his belly. "me too!" Lance patted his best friends shoulder.

"uh, guys, can I tell you something really important?" Everyone then stopped messing around as they gave (y/n) a look that said that they were listening, "What is it (y/n)?" Allura asked as she put both of her hands on the table.

"W-well uhm.." (y/n) glanced at Keith who nodded his head, "me and Keith... We're dating.." Everyone was silent. They just nodded their heads, but when they recalled what their friend said, they started screaming and yelling.

"WHAT " Lance put his hands on the table, standing up

"I already knew." Pidge pushed her glasses up

"It was quite obvious" Hunk sweatdropped

"Bu we're happy for you guys!" Shiro and Allura exclaimed,

Just then Coran burst in through the dining room, "YOU GUYS ARE WHAT?!" Everyone just laughed at Coran's facial expression.

"oh and uh, last night me and (y/n) talked," Keith stood up from his chair and decided to stand in front of his girlfriend's chair

(y/n) took a deep breath,
"and Keith proposed." Again, everyone was silent. "And I said yes." She said happily as she pulled her hand up to show a temporary ring they found lying around on the castle.

Everyone started screaming louder this time. Then they stood up from their chairs and tackled the couple, saying good things about the two of them, and how happy all of them were for them.

maybe it was a good thing telling them.

sorry this kinda sucked lol. It was kind of rushed and i hate it afxkahdkhaksa well i guess this is just me writing while waiting for s7 lol. haha i am so not ready.
