Adventure Time with Fionna and Cake

Chapter 16

Gumballs POV:

I finally reach the castle and walk into the lab taking my time, besides if I need to play hero I have to pretend I never knew where Fionna was, right? Maybe I should even sleep first before saving her... Thats actually not a bad idea, Marshall wont blame me and neither will Fionna. This plan is perfect.

I yawned softly as I made my way to my room, I quickly get into my pajamas and yawn curling up in bed. I smile happily as I drift off into sweet dreams.

Cakes POV:

"ANSWER ME BOY!" I scream this again hoping he'd tell me where my poor baby is, she's probably terrified and all alone.

"Cake I honestly don't know! I swear to glob!" He says this his voice cracking a bit, although I'm usually scared of vampires when Fionna is in trouble I don't care.

"I am sad to say I believe you." I pull off of him and sigh loudly looking back at Lord M, "Hey baby I gotta go look for Fi." He answers by hitting the ground with his hoof and I nod. "Lead the way Marshall."

He starts to run off toward a forestry area, and I grow big so I am able to keep up with him. All of a sudden he comes to a halt and looks around, I just assume hes gone crazy. "It was here Cake." He looks at me as if I had some grand plan.

"Marshall did it ever hit you theres nothing here?" I am getting quite frustrated with him now.

"Yes I know Cake, but there was a cave here..." He sighs looking down, making me feel the slightest bit of pity for him.

"Okay Marshall I believe you but where could she be?" I sigh realizing I probably make little to no sense, "Like what happened when she disappeared?" I elaborate a bit hoping his tiny little vampire brain would understand. Glob vampires freak me out.

"We were in a cave exploring, out of nowhere I hear her scream and bam shes gone!" Although I hate to believe him, it does sound extremely possible. Traps are everywhere if you aren't careful, but usually I'm there to help her.

Fionnas POV:

I wince looking around trying to figure my way out of this stupid hole. I hope someone's going to come and help me. I feel tears welting up in my eyes thinking of being down here alone. I try standing up but instantly fall on my face again whimpering. "Anyone...?" My voice is so weak I don't even recognize it.

I roll on my stomach and start to army crawl, although it isn't too quick I still get somewhere. I keep my eyes clenched shut considering this hurts so bad. "Help..." I whimper this once again feeling my eyes cloud over and my body weaken.
